5% and 97% are numbers representing different inputs made by regions during last general election according to Mr. President, I want to deduce a fact from that statement - Mr. President might think he is right but He made a mistake by saying it even if he is going to carry it out as we are seeing today.
There's power in spoken words so we should be careful on how we talk to people especially those who are already having feelings of marginalization. Our positive utterances can give them sense of belonging that they are part of the Union.
For us to move forward there must be peace and peace can't come without justice.
Mr. President should come out publicly and apologize to 5%. Secondly there must be round table discussion about the future of Nigeria union else we may crash violently God forbid.

We the 97% are completely in support of that statement. You cannot reap where you did not sow.

In fact I'm proud of the President for being bold enough to state the obvious in an international arena, regardless of who's ox is gored.

You can't hear a mature, responsible and sane president make such statement. That statement is the dumbest ever made and anyone who supports it is even dumber than the president.
That dumb and careless statement shows he knows nothing about the basic elements of democracy. That he expects everyone to vote for him shows he belongs to the stone age.

The SE delivered a block vote against his presidency, while other regions voted more randomly which eventually culminated in his victory.

He was simply restating the time tested fact that you reap where you sow. Whichever way you choose to take it is up to you, but all you can do is wail as reasonably expected.
