Back to the matter;

In 2009 when I became governor of Central Bank, the Nigerian government spent N291 billion that year subsidizing petroleum products.

“Two years later in 2011, N2.13 trillion was spent on the same subsidy, so has our population increased ten fold? It was very clear that this wasn’t oil subsidy; it was a scam.

This is just oine of the greatest heist carried out by the gele wearing woman and her master. Imagine using 25% of this year's budget to finance bogus subsidy claims. Even the most inteligent and unrepentant wailer can never come up with anything meaningful to defend this scam

“This is just on kerosene; can you imagine a country losing $120m every month to a non-existent subsidy on kerosene, and not on the PMS.

This one is broad day light robery. Nobody ever i repeat nobody ecer biught kerosene at a subsidized price of N50 -N55 per litre at any filling station. Just once in a blue moon that NNPC sells at the price at select outlets. who was swallowing all the money?

Today oil is selling below 50usd per barrel for over a year now, everyone is crying economy.imagine we had all these monies in our reserves

God help us

Sanusi is indirectly calling those who made the policy 'foolish'

GEJ, Okonjo Iweala & Co

Even Okonjo Iweala said it "Nigeria had no political will to save under Jonathan —Okonjo-Iweala"

It's issues like this that sometimes get the average, patriotic, honest working Nigerian somehow confused, dumb founded and understandebly bitter atimes:
oil subsidy scam has been abolished, oil prices also increased, all of which shud make more revenue available to the govt,in addition to the tsa, improved tax collection, etc. So why has the economy continued in it's nose dive.
The truth is that there is a disconnect somewhere btw fiscal and monetary policies.
PMB just nids to rejig the economic management team.
It's all good and well to tell people that with time things wud get better, but the family that daily goes to meet changing prices of items, most especially foodstuffs and other basics in the mkt has every right to feel bitter and disillusioned.
The economy needs drastic action, the anticorruption fight needs to be all encompassing,or non selective and pmb will have found the right track again. For now however,he is derailing from that track of hope he gave millions, eventhough there are glimmers of hope,if the aforementioned negatives are corrected, and sincerity of purpose on his part.

I pray God gives u understanding instead of running to comment first. Sanusi just opined that if Nigerians had listened when GEJ administration wanted to stop subsidy, we won't have found ourselves in this mess called recession

Sanusi like the Chameleon he is, denied GEJ after he had supported subsidy removal in 2011 flip-flopped & supported subsidy during the protests, today the heediot has come back to blame a policy he supported as the cause of our problem.

Fear-North.

No subsidy was removed and Osibanjo said it, what FG did was simply increment of fuel. Pity to our teemy youth because they are not even ready for their future insteed they rather attack anyone trying to fight for them.

Who is this one making this ignorant comment?

Sanusi was the one who advised Jonathan to remove fuel subsidies after paying N2.13 trillion in 2011 alone; SLS was the one who raised the alarm of the fraud.

That's why their anger at the Nigerian project is misplaced.

They're "too emotional " to know how to channel their grievances.

When GEJ removed the subsidy in 2011,i was among the few that supported the idea. I wonder why the man bowed to pressure and returned it again.

I kept telling people that subsidy is a scam, they called me names. Now i have been vindicated.
The people who protested are in government now.

GEJ relented because the fools who make up the majority of the Nigerian populace decided to believe the liars who are still lying to them - they said it was for the poor when in reality it was for Tinubu and his friends.

Good luck was a civilian President, he hadn't the guts to stop subsidy payments. And now, we have Buhari, a Military President, why can't he stop immediately this nonsense payments? The Land Use Decrees vest ownership in State Governance, why can't the Governors collect RENTS AND RATES AND OTHER LAND CHARGES FROM RIGS INVESTORS? The CAMD is the only Instrument of the FG that empowers her to charge Companies Income Taxes throughout the Federation. And for these reasons, we are asking the NASS to AMEND THE 1999 CONSTITUTION TO GRANT FULL AUTONOMY TO THE 36 STATES OF THE FEDERATION AND ENCAPSULATE THEM INTO THE EXISTING GEOGRAPHICAL AND CONVENTIONAL SIX ZONES THAT WE ALL KNOW. I hope you've now realized that Allah miraculously saved Nigeria from the hyperinflationary disaster that your N5000 notes would have caused?
I regretted sending u to school with my 'Subsidy' money.
So, ur teacher told u that Buhari is still a 'Millitary President' in this our very own 2016?
