that's only if your definition of 'moment of brilliance' only means scoring. Of course messi had many moments of brilliance in those matches. I didn't watch last month's final. But in 2014 his brilliant run and dribble on the right wing to eventually set up palacio for a simple nod- in was a moment of brilliance among many. In 2015 final against chile his defence splitting pass from long range to get lavezzi to set up higuain was a moment of brilliance among many. After all messi isnt the striker in the team. His goals are just a bonus. Higuain the striker has missed from 10 yards, 3 yards and 12 yards in 3 finals with only the keeper to beat. Maradona did wonders in the semi final against the English in 86 but in the final against germany he was no where. There was no higuain to spoil his party.
