Hey Guys..I have received my Visa on my passport. But there was no Introductory letter from the Visa Officer abi Embassy. I read somewhere on the CIC website that the letter is one of the documents to be provided at the point of Entry. Please anyone with such experience should advice me.

Any cause for concern??

Second, Can one show evidence of funds in a Nigeria bank as a proof of funds at the POE?
Did you check you CIC online account?

I read somewhere on this thread that the application fee has been increased to about 50k. Please exactly how much does one need to take to the visa applications office?
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by myusername101: 5:43pm On Aug 08, 2016
Okay. How do I start..... I haven't been interactive here that much but I've been going thru to get information about how long it takes to get approved. Anyway here's my testimony.
I submitted my application on the 13 th of June at Vfs global
Then I received a mail to perform my Medicals on the 8th of July.
Did my Medicals on the 12 th of July and they forwarded it to the embassy on the 15th.
Can't know when I passed the Medicals because I didn't link my account online.
I received an email about my approval today. 8th of August.
I applied to memorial university NL.
I encourage you not to give up on God. He never forsakes his people. Have full faith and confidence in him and he won't fail you. He has never failed anyone that trusts in him. Im really not the most religious person tbh. But I know that about God.
Pray to him. fast in his name and you'd receive your testimony in Jesus name. Amen.
Btw I'm an undergraduate student. Booked my flight last 2 weeks. Faith really moves mountains.
Good luck all.

PurpleG is actually correct! Sorry to hear about this man. The international student fee (appx $7k/year) is different from tuition fees (this could be as cheap as $5k) depending on how many courses you register for. Other little expenses like, health and dental insurance, gym, etc makes everything around $13 to $14k/session.

I'm pretty sure you know the next step: just try and get sufficient funds to show at least $14k plus $10k (living expenses for a year), then you should be alright. Keep in mind, the more the better. Good luck and see you here soon!

Do Canadian universities accept people with PGD qualification from Nigeria for Mastrrs program?

And if they do. Can such a person with a PGD from Nigeria get a a scholarship for the M.sc program

I would suggest you send the CSE now with an "URGENT" title. The earlier they receive it, the better IMO. I dont think it will count against you considering that time no dey again

Very wrong advice....Please dont do that. As far as its not wrong you raise a CSE.. You dont say URGENT..shows u r desperate...I raised CSE just 3 days after mine exceeded processing time and even sent a mail to Accra..But i feel you should relax this week. I have a feeling they will treat alot of apps ds week.

If you'd ask me, i think you should follow arcayo's suggestion. It doesn't hurt to try. it doesn't affect your app in anyway.

Yes...it does not hurt his application if communicated the right way...i am against the title "Urgent"

The way I see it, its quite simple......If there is a delay and you feel it should be expedited, there is no reason not to title your CSE or email with "URGENT Attention needed". That is exactly what I did hence my suggestion. They responded with a call and an email with specific update of my application. IMO, I do not consider it an act of desperation. If an application is delayed, it is delayed. The early you know why, the better you can plan ahead. That is not desperation I believe
