Am located in one of these communities. It has been a hub for large-scale bunkering championed and controlled mainly by Ijaw settlers and a few other ethnic groups including Yorubas. The Ijaws had access to sophisticated arms courtesy of militancy in ND.
After stoppage of bunkering, they resorted to robbery,:burglary, kidnapping, etc.
Most of them, including their arrowheads are known to the community. It was an attempt by some community landlords to prevent their nocturnal activities that led to the massacres and the ensuing bruhaha.

So whoever needs his/her head examined that contorts a propagandish rubbish of this nature should know go for checkup.
I will also have you know that we remain on ground to follow the ongoing military operation and if it has not favoured our interests, Yorubas, we would've cried out as we did before.

I like to correct a misconception that gained currency of late - these criminals are largely but not only Ijaws and they are NOT NDA members from ND[/s].

@Op, I used to live @Ikorodu, around the Isawo area as far back as 2010. The issue has been on even before then. The issue has always been petroleum products christened pure water. So let us be careful what we spread around.
