I am sorry for voting them into power... Sincerely everyone who is sincere knows things are not fine and of course only those who want to act blind still hail the govt

While I am disappointed with the performance of the Buhari-led administration's Economic Management Team so far, Audu Ogbeh's threat to those fertiliser producers is something I very much welcome. A serious country like China or Singapore would've done the same. You can't be exporting the little we produce when the demand is there in the local market, especially with a product like fertiliser. In order to attain food sufficiency, the government must keep its head straight. Free market capitalist principles my foot!

Seriously what is Buhari's economic policy? Does anybody know? Can someone please highlight them here for the rest of us because i am at a loss here.
That is the Nobel price winning question.

Till date nobody has been able to articulate clearly the economic policies of this government.

Kemi Adeosun always has that clueless expression about her like a new IT student in my office. Looks like a new staff looking for someone to tell her what to do.

The only person who has made an effort is Lai Mohammed with his suggestion to create jobs by dressing and undressing masquerades.

Perhaps, one of the most repentant, remorseful and objective regret message seen so far.

No blaming of anyone else. The first article I would read, perhaps, where the illusory game of blaming GEJ wasn't utilised. Just an acceptance of full responsibility.

Well-done, Mr Feyi. I hope others will take a cue from you and perhaps bravely indict Tinubu who, we all know, sold and possibly paid you guys to launder the whitewashed image of a dictator.

I keep hearing about these mystical foreign investors . Where are those investors?
Where are their power plants, steel plants, toy factories etc.
The investors he is talking about are the speculators who come to Nigeria to inflate bubbles In the stock exchange who then sell at the height of the bubble, and leave the country with a bill.
While the racket is going on, these so called elites have so much money to throw on Wrist-watches, champagnes, exotic cars etc.
Buhari rightly trapped these folks money in Nigeria with the ban on forex or they would have depleted the forex reserves faster than you can say bob.
Their fingers got burnt so do not expect them to come back any time soon.
My grouse with Buhari is definitely not on the economy.
Get used to Nigeria for what she is.
A poor country with millions of unproductive citizens.
Are you for real?

Next time... when an aspirant declines a debate, ideas and suggestion.. we would know better.
It is only in Nigeria a presidential aspirant declined a debate - a means to educate the people on the strategy to deliver his manifestos, and still be voted for.

This is the result!

I welcome serious disagreements against any government including the current administration, but what I resent is half backed and ill informed argument especially regarding the fertilizer that this writer grossly misunderstood and characterized.

Today in Nigeria, food prices from rice to tomato are dropping daily, we don't have looters looting whatever we have left, we have almost 20 new power plants coming up including the 4000MW Mambilla that Jona and his gang abandoned, roads and bridges are back on tract because the contractors jona and his gang refused to pay are back on site, we've recovered billions of looted funds and so on so what is the meaning of the weak and unreasonable argument?

To even expect a country bastardized and crippled for 55 years to turn around in less than 2 years is the apex of idiocy and unrealistic mentality.

Back to fertilizer, we are less than 2 years away from the commissioning of Dangote fertilizer plant with capacity to satisfy our local needs and many left to export all over Africa.

We are less than 2 years away from the commissioning of Dangote refinery with enough capacity to satisfy our local needs with money than enough petrol and petroleum products left to export all over Africa.

Same with gas, petrochemicals which means no more importation of petrochemicals for plastic and related products so the future is very very bright for us..

If in less than 2 years you are disillusioned about a 4 year term administration saddled with a broken and looted system and trying to get you out of that system and lay better foundation for the future, they you have weak and meager convictions for what you voted for and believed in.

This is why I don't take these weak minded internet crybabies seriously...

thats it!!!..we dont need gej, what we need is something more better than buhari...

it is very clear that buhari beat jonathan hands off!!!!..

what we need now is something better than buhari!!!::

and if we dont find someone better than buhari, then its better we stick with buhari,,,the way zimbabwe is sticking with mugabe....

dont tell me the zimbabweans are not strong enough to have kicked mugabe away loonnnng time ago!!!

the zimbabweans have their reasons to still tolerate him!!!!...they way the libyans tolerated gaddafi for a looonnng time..
Crazy talkhuh the only reason people voted buhari over GEJ is mostly because of the New Wife Syndrome. Unfortunate for Nigerians, this new Cassandra was the Bad in Badluckhuhhuh

If you are sincere with this piece I guess you are repentant then. Welcome to the right side. I can see a new country emerging from the smoldering ashes of this Nigeria. We warned but prejudice and hatred blinded a whole lot of people and today we are here. If not for unbridled anger, who would have rejected the sound economic team of GEJ for one antediluvian tyrant called buhari? Any way, what has been written must be accomplished. Welcome Feyi.
The same I said few days ago. Pastor Bakare made simiiar regret remarks fews days back, some angry true Nigerians were not ready to forgive him. These people said they will never sell the wailers form to him. There is nothing as good as turning back having realised that mistakes have been done. On behalf of all those who failed to see abi observe that Buhari and his apc members were just deceits are hereby forgiven including Feyi. What is left now is to work very hard towards 2019 especially considering the fact that Buhari and apc members are still very powerful. They still insist that they on the accurate line. No body should take this advise as mere because Buhari cannot carry out any change. As at today, I am a retiree but because I was lucky I have some flats which I have been renting. As I am posthing this, my three tenants are all owning me. It has not, never happened like this before. To make things worst, thereby increasing the hopelessness, Dagara and Jubrin corruptions issues will further stagnate this government for not less than four to five month. Before you know it, Buhari's badluck will bring another wahala. There is no hope other than to work very hard towards 2019. Again, Feyi, you are welcome. ....

But I thought the zombies said Nigeria doeant need foreign investors ? That they are superficial investors and the real ones will remain.

Then I thought they said China had signed a deal with Nigeria, so that the dollar xan be totally crashed. Dreams!

If you are still a zombie now, then you will remain a zombie forever. Investors have lost billions due to our unstable market and policies, they are not prepared to lose more until credible steps are taken and competent people are put in charge. Not the nonsense that the uselessly clueless Buhari, kemi and Emefiele are up to.

How can you say that GEJ's government ran the economy into the ground when the economy was growing, recognized as the best nation to invest in in Africa and became the largest economy on the continent?
It was all manipulated to make us believe all is is good. The glaring facts became more evident when the former minister of finance openly advised Nigerians to tighten their belt for the difficulties that were seen as imminent.
