So why not just write to FIFA and the IOC to forfeit the match instead of inadvertently showing your team has certain problems and may actually not be as good as people think. Let us watch the second half to see what Siasia will do. You can only know the true strength of a team when it is chasing.

that'd be against the spirit of sportmanship. fifa rues that and won't appreciate it. besides, forfeiting the match is counter-productive as 3 points will be deducted from our 6 points and 3 goals given against us.

it's always better to play every match even ones that don't really matter as those matches help to expose a team's deficiencies so that they can be addressed. when it really matters the team won't disappoint after that.
