I just moved to Ibadan, and I want to start brooding of cockerels (rearing them from day old to 4 weeks), and then selling off. I did it for a while in Lagos, and I used to sell to those men that carry them on their heads. Do you think brooding of cockerels is worth it in Ibadan? I want to be brooding 100s of day old chicks and sell them off at N150 each.

Actually, I am not talking of raising the cockerels to maturity, but to 4-5 weeks, after which I sell them off. Hope you understand what I mean?

it will be more profitable if you enter the neighbouring market yourself or doing the brooding for farm
