– Chierika Ukogu finished twentieth in the 100m rowing finals

– The American-Nigerian will not get a medal for her efforts

Nigeria’s Chierika Ukogu who has emerged 20th in women’s single 100m sculls final D.

Unfortunately Ukogu does not qualify for a medal but her achievement would mean her ranking would definitely shoot up.

The now legendary rower qualified for the final after she finished fourth in the semi-final with a total time of 8:18:55 while in the final she finished with a total time of 7.44.76.

Sometimes I wonder how a Nigerian born and bred abroad,feels Nigerian. With all this hardships, I will deny nigeria in an heartbeat. What has my country done for me huh
