Nigerian security forces and their colonial tactics. This should have been done quietly. |

Certain things aren't supposed to be made public until later. Secretly arrest the Ahmed Silkida guy and grill him to get the info you want but now that he's been publicly declared wanted, he and boko boys will be on guard. Don't we have military intelligence in that NA sef ![]() |

This government's method of handling situations is baffling. As if lying to us about the war on terror wasn't enough, they want to arrest the only Nigerian journalist brave enough to report the true situation of things. Nigerian, brace yourselves. This government doesn't mean well, and they will paint a picture of Nigerians living in paradise with them in power. The immediate future looks bleak. |

rusher14:Read up the reasonUS Department of States backed out on the issue of Boko Haram. If you can't, lemme tell you. They carried out a reconnaissance survey, they knew the spot and camp where the girls are and they shared the Intel and the mode of attacking whhich is called a silent NIGHT (Gassing the entire area) with the Presidency (GEJ) who was exited and tell his Federal Executive Committee (FEC), during that time, there was hullabaloo on media that they're close to delivering the Chibok girls. Prior to their Mission (US), they carried out another survey and the whole militant were wearing headmask... That was what led to the backing out of the Dos on BH issue. Nigerian Army can never be trusted bruh. |

GudluckIBB:You sound like a Boko haram (or at least a sympathiser!) yourself! FYI, a citizen is obliged under the law, to provide relevant information within their possession, tot he authorities, in cases of terrorism otherwise they are considered and accessory and complicit. Over years, these two have proved beyond doubt that they are in close contact with the terrorists. Over the years the terrorists have used them as a conduit for their propaganda Over the years, these two have REFUSED to give useful information to the Govt over the terrorists activities. And yes, Govt has the right to force you to divulge information that could be helpful in preventing terrorist attack, even it it has to waterboard you! 'Human Rights's will come, after 'Humans' have been saved from Terrorists |

Perfect thing to do after that video. I was really pissed by that video and its blackmailing tactics of the federal government, using the chibok girls to score cheap points. For me, the chibok girls should be considered dead and wipe them all out |

sinkhole:The Army have tried, in the last three years to "work covertly with Sadika" but the guy at a point was playing games and was extorting money from the Govt (claiming he was negotiating a ceasefire) while not helping the Govt in anyway. He got the money but Boko haram was still actively bumbin and killing people. Govt tried to make him see reason to be patriotic to the country and the innocent lives being lost, but he preferred to be acting in the interest of Bok haram, over the past three years! Now, the Army says "enough of the games", we will arrest you and make you provide the info we need to save the lives of Nigerians, whether you cooperate or not. ![]() So, if you are Sidika or one of his sympathisers, Fighting Terrorism superceeds Human Rights. |

ManTiger:Many factors to consider : A different C-IN-C A different set of generals manning the top echelon. How this ties in with said journalist. Why we should trust the same journalist who has been the go between (courier if you like)? Why many of us, far detached from the reality on ground think we understand the inner workings based on a few articles we've read spurned by the various interests involved. Why Boko Haram has decided to negotiate release of some of their fighters in exchange for the Chibok girls if they weren't being hit hard. |

I don't support this public cry at all. Nigerian Army should know better, there should be a way to get this guy and question him. |

It's very simple. The guy in question should explain to the Army how he received the videos he published. If he has nothing to hide, he should be willing to help the security agencies trace our Chibok girls. Tell the security agencies the source of the videos and let them follow the intelligence to where it leads. |

| Re: Army Declares Ahmed Salkida, Bolori & Aisha Waki Wanted For Links To Boko Haram by Excuzeme: 9:16pm On Aug 14, 2016 |
ManTiger:Agreed, there would be sympathisers of any Group within the Army, anyday, anytime. Even the American Army has members who pass intelligence to enemies but when caught, its a court-marshal, no stories. The Nigerian Army under GEJ suffered a lot of "attacks" from politicising it, to corrupting it with money, to low morale, to lack of professionalism. GEJ himself turned the Boko haram issue into a political game that he can benefit from! But TODAY, things have 'changed' and improved to a large extent. You dont have to trust the whole military structure but there are still a 'select few' that are resolute and patriotic enough to be trusted and saddled with the fight against terrorism, so much so that even the U.S DoD is coming back onboard to support the Nigerian Govt with weapons, fighters and intel. And BTW, we have no choise than to trust and support our own Army otherwise, ordinary civilians should be willing to face the terrorists (let us ask the civilians under IS.IS in Syriawhat it feels like to be under these terrorists!) |

If untill now the Nigerian security system does not the where about of the missing girls and the sacts then it is either the girls never existed or we don't have a working inteligence and investigating unit and the coutry, for nigeria army to make this kind of statement publicly it means that they don't have a clue on want to do or they are scare of hearing the truth,or maybe they don't want the public to know what is going on in the country concerning the group, because now the those people is at risk, because the terour group will definently be hunting them or will not allow them again with the imformation concerning them for the fear of sabotash. |

The guy should grant a press conference from wherever he is that he will turn himself in and then go and hand himself over I am sure his arrest won't end Boko haram Such a dumb army! |

It is now I believe Nigeria lacks intelligence to fight terrorism. How could they put this out in the public? By doing this, Ahmad Salkida and others will most likely not cooperate with them. I doubt if UAE will extradite him to Nigeria based on this. What happened to secret policing to dig out where Salkida and others are, pick them up quietly, and convince them to cooperate? |

The Nigerian army is a joke. Very big one. They should have declared CNN and others wanted? Since when has it become a crime to report on BH? The same army that wanted journalists to send their stories in before vetting? |
