29-year-old Usain Bolt has proved it again, winning the 100 meters in 9.81 seconds, securing his place as the greatest sprinter of all time and becoming the only man or woman to win the 100 three times and at consecutive Olympics.

His main rival, Justin Gatlin of the United States, the 2004 Olympic champion who later served a suspension for doping and was booed on Sunday, took the silver medal in 9.89 seconds. Andre de Grasse of Canada won the bronze in 9.91.

As Bolt approached the finish line , he cast his eyes on the video scoreboard high above , where even he could watch history unfold . Easing off the gas , he smiled and thumped his chest with his right hand and raised his index finger into the air .

It’s not just his speed that’s mind blowing, it’s how easy he makes it look, as evidenced in this photo of him dusting his competitors in the 100M semifinals Sunday.

While the other runners look winded, Bolt is posing for the cameras, a perfectly relaxed, I’m-not-sweating-this smile on his face.

The rest of the athletes trained even harder but some people are just genetically different. Look it up.

We have people that have exceptional genes Like michael Phelps, and the rest ... I think bolt belongs to this group.
