Haba! that's outrageous....I have gone for more 5 interviews in top notch schools in Ajah & Lekki and I confidently tel u that no schools in both places pay up to 200k

For a degree holder with vast experience, the following are range of d pay:

Ajah: 35-60k

Lekki: 60-100k

Pgde/Master

Ajah: 60-80k

Lekki: 100-150k

Sounds more realistic

Leave God out of this bro.Employers take advantage of high unemployment rate to cheat her employees.If the op refuse the salary there are 2/3 of applicants who are willing to accept it while searching for a better offer.Nobody want to remain boredom at home

this is Ajah here that people that work in ikota shopping complex take 25-30 thousand as salary a month

Readington pays very well but first you will start with little the little am talking about is 70 as a class teacher then 30 as class assistant but there is a lot of work and pressure there if you can stay there for at least a year you can get like 90- 100
these are the little schools I know and am sure they are more schools in ajah that pay like these schools

Pls do u know if this sch pays well: Megland International school Jakande lekki for an experience teacher with 6yrs teaching experience

I disagree with u. I've taught in Laura Stephens, Reading ton and Gem royal, all in Ajah.
Laura Stephens pay 60k for start and I know people who receive more 100k there b4 I left. Readington pay 50 for start for Bsc holders and 80k for PGDE or MSc added.
Gem royal pay lesser.
Green springs start with 150 and 200 for MSc. Atlantic hall in Epe start with 160 for Bsc.
Meadow Hall in lekki pay 350k, but I don't know if its BSc or MSC. I know someone that know someone who work there. I teach in LCIC in lekki and in receive 60 for a start. Down start with 150, so also LBIC and BIS both in lekki. Priory preparatory sch started with 230 for a friend of mind, a former colleague at laurastephens, and they enrolled him for on line program for PGDE at ujni of Sunderland.
I once did interview at Regency, the offer was not good. They didn't even give me any offer when they saw previous salary alert on my phone.

No it shows government schools is actually the scam. The pupils being taught should be high priority not the employees. That's why Nigeria is in such a mess cause the government treat themselves better than the people they serve just as the picture clearly depicts.

I was once paid 12k per month as a Head Teacher in Ibadan. So pathetic.

U are right... .only few schools in that axis could prove my writeup wrong..

It's Atlantic Hall not atlanta and they don't pay 350k. where did you get that from. Even the V.P that has spent over 17 years with them and obtained his M.Ed in the UK is not earning that amount. Even Corona isn't paying 100k for graduates. and mind you, when you join them just say bye to your social life.

A school that has that kind of structure and pays its teachers peanut is plain wicked or in erecting such beautiful structures to attract parents, they have incurred enormous debt that they are trying to offset. It's not always as it seems until you move close before you really understand what's happening.
And so you know government is still subsidizing education for citizens. The revenue generated by public schools for a term is not even close enough to run the school for a month but how else does a private man run his school when there is no free money?

When you have igcse certifiication,masters or pgde it's an added advantage for you to get good bargain.

What you don't know is that you have a lot of work to do in schools that pay that big. Just forget about having a social life. Even on holidays you will be asked to report in school

The highest paid teacher in government schools is the principal and his salary after like 25years in service is ,300,000 for Lagos state and that is if age doesnt catch up with you.Graduate re paid 60k per month with promotion after four years the amount added to your salary is 5000.So how will he build the house you are displaying.Get information before posting nonsense. My friend is a teacher in Lagos state after 18years,his salary not uo to 150,000.

And another thing you don't understand about those schools is that your friend might not leave that salary scale for the next 5years or above. The only thing they're enjoying is home lesson. imagine 3 home lessons in a month with at least 40k *3 = 120k + his monthly pay of 120= 240k monthly and that's why they don't last Coz of the work load on them, they collapse and resign anyhow. It's not easy working there I must tell u.
