I am fully grounded in Rivers State and very much aware there has never been election in Rivers State except perhaps in 2011 amidst normal rigging. It has always been like a war of thugs and the stronger thugs backed by Presidency usually carry the day.

I wish free elections will hold one day but that day is still far away.

Nice one. In 2015 wike and mama p1ss manufactured 1.4 million votes when there were no result sheets in most of the polling units. So why are they crying now? I know that the tai results were heavily rigged for the apc but who cares? Karma is a biiitch. Thank goodness this election appeal ends at the appeal court. Wike and co can go and die.

Was Buhari President then? My friend election has come and gone with everyone including UN observers acknowledging voting never actually took place. In 2019 another result will still be written at INEC and thugs will still fight again.

Those chanting APC won't understand the negative impact of this in near future. Buhari will never hand over to a Yoruba man or any other tribe. Their only opposition would have been PDP but it looks like they are trying to kill it off completely and the consequences will be your votes don't count, take whoever the North imposes on you or stfu.

By 2019 there will be no healthy opposition.

That's impossible. A new party might emerge out of APC and PDP that will be better option. In as much as most of us prefer APC we will never support single party system. Buhari is the major driving force of APC as most supporters know he is almost the only good man there. Without Buhari APC = PDP with a different name.

The problem here is English. Inec never cancelled the election. They only suspended it but I guess the PDP didn't understand it that way. But if you look closely at the release from Inec at the time as posted here, there was no mention of cancellation but suspension and now the suspended election has been concluded. Now, the question will be at what stage was the election suspended? Is it during vote casting, during result collation or on/before result announcement? If it is during vote casting or result collation, PDP might have a case but if it is after result collation or during result announcement then they have no case. PDP's best bet is to seek redress at the tribunal if they feel shortchanged. But one thing i know for sure is that the constituency in question is a very strong hold of APC in Rivers State.

If true then thumbs down to Inec. How can an inconclusive election miraculously become conclusive without fresh votes.
