This is what we called serpentine skilled test in driving training, kudos to FRSC and Peace mass transport coy! Please add parallel parking and alley duck skill test for more efficiency!

I used Peace Mass Transit Ltd (PMT) as a student and i keep using it event as a worker.
I a a Big Fan of PMT. One to two accidents cant change it. Given the amount of buses they have
and the amount of people they convey, I am convinced with bias that PMT remains Numero 1

I entered this peace bus from Abakaliki to Portharcourt last week Monday. The driver was so reckless that we escaped accident twice. All our pleas for him to drive like a human being fell on deaf ear.
Please if the management sees this, they should do something about that man. This is the vehicle.

FRSC must enforce maximum speed limit on all road transporters, whether it is mass transit buses or salon cars and also all public transportation drivers MUST pass the FRSC designed road test which will include road signs test, road test, psychological test, monthly vehicle inspection checks which must be certified by FRSC otherwise such vehicles must be impounded. These test should be repeated every six months for commercial drivers and annually for private car owners.

FRSC owes the nation these responsibilities to keep our roads safe. We must operate our roads as a civilised people and not allow anybody and everybody to get on the wheels. Many are dead today because an unqualified driver was behind the wheels. some drivers dont even operate their vehicles with any sense of responsibility, they are just not supposed to drive. Whether they have a drivers license or not is another question how they got licensed in the first place is a yet another question. Once a person holds a license issued by FRSC it is assumed that such person has passed the basic and standard drivers test and therefore can operate any vehicle anywhere in the world.

That is why some countries accept out of country license as a basis to issue their own license. You dont want to go there and massacre people and they now trace it to FRSC licensed driver. This will only put a question mark to the credibility of the FRSC license. That must not be allowed to happen. Anybody holding that FRSC issued license must be authorized to possess it. Driving is never a right but a priviledge. Let us get things right at least in this sector it doesnt cost anything other than 100% enforcement.

Anyway that's a good one because at a point I was now wondering what was becoming of peace mass transit the rate of accident and death rate of it's passengers increased. before now I do not take any other transport company while travelling and initially they were not like this until the sudden engagement of accidents, over loading their buses with so much goods with out minding how the passengers in transit will feel. FRSC should do more than this to them because I can see the name PMT already dragged to the gutters loosing so much customers. The best I have seen, tested and certified is GIGM.com, with highly trained professional God fearing and cautious pilots and it's company's wonderful services to customers. Truly you remain the number ONE and simply the BEST. kudos to GOD IS GOOD MOTORS.

But is it right to make hasty generalization of a whole agency bec of one driver whom u considered "reckless"? Most transport companies are strive with target on their drivers and that can get them driving hurriedly.

2) mental test

3) concentration test

4) smoking test

4) ...and other Nigeria test.

I remember in 2009,the then corps marshal, Osita Chidoka, commissioned the company's use of speed limiter in their mass transit buses. These show that the company has been safety conscious, it's the few reckless drivers that have been shown the out, especially in this kind of test.
I strongly support this move by the largest mass transit company in Africa.

What happened to Peace Mass transit shows that at whatever level one is, he can still fail or experience setbacks. On the highway yesterday, i was cruising at 100km/h on short distance and to my dismay, overtook a PMT bus that was on an interstate journey..

Everything in life is by the grace of God.

The problem has a solution: let the company stop giving their drivers target like marketers in most commercial banks

I was.

PR stunt, those drivers receive bonus based on trips made. That's the reason for the frequent accidents and not their driving skills.
