Even the title says the members will be drawn from APC and PDP.

By your analogy, if PDP must die by the existence of a splinter party consisting both APC and PDP "disgruntlants" then APC won't survive as well.

PDP survived after new PDP joined APC and didn't collapse but shrank so shall the same befall what remains of their parent party.

Had new PDP formed a new party without merging with APC, Jonathan would've been reelected.

I was of the opinion that rebranding Nigeria political system needs this re-engineering and modifications towards stability.

U av just made my day with this objective & unsentimental statement of urs. How I wish all the younger generation think this way? The issue of all the old selfish politicians would have been history.

They however can't be straight about it cos if they just moved and launched a party, the Press and Nigerians will drag them to filth, so they have to be "strategic" about it, make it seem as if PDP has been "snatched" from them & they have been left with no choice..

The drama with Ali Modu Shekau is leading somewhere and no discerning mind is in the dark about their real intent..

Why can't our student presidents in all the Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges, in nigeria, form a political party that would better the lives of nigerian youths/students and non-students most of all our mothers sisters?

These old grandPas without 21st century leadership's skills are not thinking about us(youths). We nigerian political youths, can correct the wrongs of our political elders/grandpas
power is not given. Its taken. We are leaders of today not tomorrow.

Where I come from, there is hardly any polygamist alive.

My kinsmen strongly advice against such because of the agony and bad tidings associated with the practice and moreover, divorce rate among my kinsmen is approximately 2% maximum hence I perceive that it is no long acceptable in my ancestral home.

Which West? Native Americans engage in polygamy hence I don't understand
