This is Corps Marshal Osita Chidoka (Ikeobosi), immediate past Federal Road Safety boss and former Aviation Minister under the immediate past administration riding in lead to the final resting abode of his late principal, Chief Ojo Maduekwe, today in Ohafia.

Through Chief Osita Chidoka's series on his Facebook page, I got to know how principled, strong willed and highly cerebral Chief Ojo was. His many uncelebrated achievements were laid bare by his then subject, Osita Chidoka.

Ikeobosi never stopped drumming it to the ears of all how Mekaria inspired and mentored him to who he is today. In fact, to keep Mekaria's legacy alive, he recently instituted a mentorship program solely for Human Capital Development.

Ikeobosi, as you strive higher and greater, may God surround you with loyal subjects, friends and partners, just as you humbly dedicated yourself while in service.

Abians and indeed Nigerians have lost a great human asset in the person of the deceased elder statesman. May his soul continue to rest in peace'.

Ojo Maduekwe during his time as Transport Minister, canvassed for the use of Bicycle for public transportation. Chidoka shares the idea as we have seen some of his pictures riding bicycle

His posts have been all about this Ojo man lately.
I sometimes wonder what he so did for him that have clung this tenanciously to his memories.

His first exposure to administration and real politics was as a personal assistant to Ojo Maduekwe in the ministry of culture. Second exposure and upgrade was as special assistant (Director) to Ojo Maduekwe minister of transport. It was after this special assistant job that he became senior advisor government relations to Exxon Mobil. His principal contact in government was still Ojo Maduekwe. Ojo Maduekwe nominated him and got Obasanjo to appoint him FRSC chairman and CEO. One of the last appointments Obasanjo made as president. From there he became his own man, Ike Obosi and Minister.
