THERE ARE BEGGARS IN THE STREETS OF NEW YORK ALL THE WAY TO DOWN TOWN MANHATTAN.

NOT JUST BEGGARS, BUT MUGGERS, PICK POCKETS, CON ARTISTS AND HOMELESS PEOPLE IN THE STREETS OF NEW YORK. WOMEN EVEN BEG WITH KIDS/BABIES JUST LIKE IN LAGOS. IN FACT IN THEIR METRO SUBWAYS YOU MAY BE ROBBED OR YOUR POCKET PICKED!

As a matter of fact there are over 4,000 homeless people in the streets of New York.Go to Grand Central, Macy's Herald Square. Even right in front of the Empire State Building you see beggars there. They forget that areas like East New York and Brooklyn-Bronx- also exist. I don't know what some people think New York is. Granted it is a modern city, however, it is not heaven! All vices and ills of the society that you can think of exist there. New York is like Lagos. You must be street smart otherwise the streets will consume you. As a New Yorker, just like a Lagosian, you think fast, easily detect danger and aware of your surroundings. You are hardly gullible. That is why most Lagosians can survive in any city in Nigeria. Unless that City is too dull.

Dem plenty sef, its just that all man for himself and no coordinated team begging or in pairs. Many homelessnleople sleep on th streets at night too. Bros beggar no be only by siddon with plate. How about mobile begging? Bus stops and subways etc are sites for stationary begging too...
