Lagos State: 9,013,534

Southeast Nigeria: 16,381,729

The difference is more than Ondo and Ekiti States combined hence Southeast is more populated than Lagos, Ondo and Ekiti States put together.

Is there any comparison let alone putting Lagos population above the entire Southeast as the author stupidly stated?
