A visibly angry Gov. Ifeanyi A visibly angry Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State visits Ndiagu Attakwu community in Akegbe Ugwu, Nkanu West Local Government Area of the state, where suspected Fulani herdsmen killed a catholic seminarian and injured 4 persons. The governor condemned the dastardly act in its entirety. He vowed that those who pepertrated the heinous act will not go unpunished, adding his administration will not tolerate the wanton destruction of lives and property in the state by the herdsmen. The governor stormed the hersdmen settlement inside a thick forest apparently to express his displeasure over the heinous act, only to discover that the herdsmen had fled. The governor prayed for the repose of the seminarian and quick recovery of the survivors.

The Catholic Bishop of Enugu, Dr. C.V.C Onaga who visited the grief-stricken community, also condemned the attack and expressed sadness over the incident. He prayed for peace and unity of the country, calling for a permanent solution to the menace of the herdsmen in the country.

The governor has summoned an emergency meeting with the security agencies and Fulani community in the state today at the Government House, Enugu. of Enugu State visits Ndiagu Attakwu community in Akegbe Ugwu, Nkanu West Local Government Area of the state, where suspected Fulani herdsmen killed a catholic seminarian and injured 4 persons. When I read 'he stormed the thick forest in search of the herdsmen' I thought he was going to use machine gun on them.

So if Fulanis carry out an attack they will still foolishly remain in that same neighbourhood?? Mr Governor quit the acting, not everyone's brains was mashed by Nollywood movies

Thank ur stars he didn't cry like a kid today, he only knows how to convert peoples land, the next thing he will do now is to claim the land in which those fulani people graze on and start selling it at 10million a plot.

I just finished reading this news in shame. I weep for My state. Na only cultism matter we sabi carry for head, mention gang/cult war and watch Enugu youths demonstrate their killing skills on their fellow. Now way e don't set.
