kenonze:Nice observation. Stoned is actually correct when used as a verb. Stoned is the past participle of stone. Also "stonning" is with one N not double N. |
| Re: Governor Yahaya Bello Stoned In Kogi by dadoctore(m): 6:48pm On Aug 26, 2016 |
We generally just accept any correction ppl bring up and most times are too lazy to do a lil research to double-check. Don't wana quote anyone and get 'undue attention' but pls the lady correcting the op about 'stoned' should know that yes it is correct(as well as hers). Don't just pick the first search page off Google, go further and learn more. |

kenonze:Stoned is also used as the past tense of the verb 'stone', which means to throw stone at somebody in order to injure or killed them. E.g., he was stoned to death. |

I wish more Nigerians would be bold enough to do this but unfortunately nobody wan die. The minute stoning becomes widespread our mumu police force will develop the habit of shooting people left and right if they attempt to stone government officials. As if the progress Nigerians are stoning for will not also benefit the police. |
