damola311:In those days, our parents and teachers told us to read and listen to news in order to improve on our English. Imagine someone, who is preparing for English examination, coming to read this. How will he perform during such an examination when he can't differentiate between stoned and hurled missile? Instead of trying to pull the lady down, you should commend her for putting that error right. Stop taking joy in pulling other people down; it doesn't take you anywhere. |

MicroBox:Very arrogant dude... watched him a couple of times on tv, a very striking incident was when he was warning striking lecturers in the state. This is what happens when someone who the people didnt actually cast votes for comes in... that law of party wins election is a stupid law, it robs the people of their right to choose. Why not make a law that stops people from decamping? |

| Re: Governor Yahaya Bello Stoned In Kogi by americanigga(m): 12:51am On Aug 27, 2016 |
kenonze:You tried but you are inadvertently wrong or to be more polite you are not totally correct The word stone can be used as a noun, adjective or verb. As a verb it means : to pelt with stones, especially to kill by pelting with stones e.g. She got stoned to death after they found her a popular example was steven stoned to death in the bible |

kenonze:What type of missile? Scud, cruise or Kim Jung-un type? I guess Kogites have listened to Amaechi. He once said thieving politicians should be stoned. It could become national pastime to "kogitise" looters. ![]() Oh, sorry. Buhari will not release names of looters or amount returned by any individual. Oh well, at least the propaganda is on. |

americanigga:Mr teasher-teasher... please don't teach us nonsense ! Which English dictionary (or according to ur fellow teasher above, UK dictionary) said that "stone" can be used as a verb In the context we are referring to here, it's only "stoning" that comes closest, but unfortunately for U "stoning" is a noun which describes 'throwing stones at someone until death' - a form of capital punishment. Stone can not be used as adjective; only "stoned" Please ooo... learn if U want to learn & quit deceiving others. |

Kogi ppl never voted for this boy called AYB and FG knws abt this. Ever since this Buhari's wife school friend ascend this office kogi knws no peace except terrible hunger abject poverty. Well, if Buhari and co decide to remain mute abt this kogi ppl suffering, the consquence would be that this is clearly Buhari style of leadership. |

| Re: Governor Yahaya Bello Stoned In Kogi by Junior66(m): 6:59am On Aug 27, 2016 |
Joavid:what are you saying? The governor wants to renovate roundabouts he destroyed himself for about 1 billion naira yet you say the state is broke? he wants to renovate government house for billions of naira when workers have not been paid yet you say the state is broke. Are you for real? When was the last time you visited kogi state? Are you aware that Yahaya Bello has been gifted more than 50 billion naira since he came to power? Yet he stil owes salaries. Haba! I have lost respect for you. Are you an Ebira? Must you defend your brother? |

kenonze:Well said sis, well said |
| Re: Governor Yahaya Bello Stoned In Kogi by Nobody: 7:29am On Aug 27, 2016 |
Junior66:to be honest, I didn't know he was gifted that amount. and where did it come from? aside that, it's no news that the Igala's fought tooth and nail to make sure no other tribe enters luggard house, especially an ebira man. The people who made those attacks are definitely not Okun or ebiras but Igala's or paid miscreants. lots of states in Nigeria owe salaries. besides, Wada didn't pay them salaries before he left, and he did absolutely nothing for the state, whenever he came to okene, did we ebira's stone him? No! |

Rafaell:The reason I took my time to enlighten you is so that you don't go and embarrass youself in public or before your younger ones. I don't know whether you are a christian or not, but if you are you should know that according to the bible stephen was stoned to death. That is stone being used as a verb. Are you now convinsed. If you are still not convinsed just google the "meaning of stone" or "stone as a verb" Waiting for you to thank me! |
| Re: Governor Yahaya Bello Stoned In Kogi by Betapikin101: 9:26am On Aug 27, 2016 |
Joavid:Wada was not opportuned to get the bailout and other funds that yahaya has been given it is only few ebiras who are eating under him that can come out boldly that that guy is doing well am neither ebira nor igala but the thing is this yahaya guy is not getting it right at all he is heading into deep dangerous water and he thinks he's on the right path. For those who love him the best they can do for him is to call him and give him some word of advice but as the kind of person that he is he will never listen he claims that God put him there .the God who elected Saul in the Bible was the same God who rejected him. A word Is enough for the wise i rest my case |
