Niger Delta avengers announced ceasefire states demands and ready for dialog, then next the army deploys Military men I to the creek.

this government is confused. back and front.
They sought dialogue after military deployment had commenced and their sponsors were named. That season is over.

It was only a few weeks ago that they dared the military to come to the creeks. Their doubts and those of their supporters that think they can face the Armed Forces needs to be neutralized.

You can never succeed in blackmailing this government with violence. It's now fire for fire.

You must be joking. These criminals have killed our soldiers and sabotaged our economy and you want them to maintain a monopoly of force in a sovereign state? Only a foolish government will take their ceasefire seriously. My own is that the lives of innocent people matter and should be protected by using the best International standard of engagement with terrorists.

as brutal as our intelligent obj was, he tried the gun way and failed. Now it's this confused government that will succeed? We will read the part 2 of this action movie on nairaland. This oil that is holding our economy, If u have been to the place and see the disaster caused by oil drilling, u will think twice before calling them criminals except if u are without a conscience.

99% of the disasters today are caused by militants. The military action could be stopped if they are humble enough to drop their arms and embrace peace.

Lol...why are you crying more than the bereaved? I thought you guys said the military can't fight militants at the creeks? You guys said it's a guerrila war style which the military can't deal with.

Btw, it's not in the position of thieves to call for cease fire. We are not in a war situation, we are dealing with thieves, oil bunkers and economic saboteurs. Calling for a cease fire is like a rapist calling you for truce after raping your daughter's.
Hmmmmm! did I hear "thieves"? the oil in question is it theirs or urs? who is e real thief here? People taking others' belonging by force since time of Cain

Stop displaying your ignorance in 3-D. The land, waters and everything found within it constitutionally belongs to the federal republic of Nigeria, it's government and people. If you are not satisfied with the status quo, go and lobby for a change in constitution.

For the meantime, they will continue to be massacred, because we don't negotiate with terrorist

Who asked the criminals for ceasefire ?
They dared the military to come meet them in the creeks and they now have. Let them back their bluff now that it has been called by the military.
Fighter jets has been deployed to niger delta so the military means business now and even the ragtag terrorist in the creeks has seen the hand writing on the wall.
They are terrorist and not militants and will be treated the same way as BOKO HARAM.
The able Nigeria military gave the terrorist in arepo creeks a little dose and calm returned. The terrorist in arepo creeks formerly were boasting together with there Biafra and fedora cap people here on this forum that they will deal the military a massive blows but now we know whose nose was bloodied.
Out of fear IPOB has disintegrated, Nigeria military carry go jare no time for nonsense, anyone that does anyhow we see anyhow.
God bless our military men and women

Not knowing that the govt including its constitution is meant for the good of the people exhibits the glaring 4-D ultrasound image of your ignorance. You dared made reference to provisions of Nigeria constitution which has most if not all of its root in the greedy and inequitable constitution of Arthur Richard, the constitution that divided Nigeria into 3 unequal states thus making provision for minority and majority group which is the major problem they kept Niger delta in this condition.
I don't have time for more explanations but just know that people lived in that Niger delta soil before the advent of constitution and constitution doesn't take away peoples right. their inheritance is their right. if govt must make use of their oil they must be compensated not only for making use of their oil but for polluting their land. go tot that region and stop being insensitive.

haha it very clear u are uninformed. why did the military not dared them earlier when they were blowing up the pipeline. now they called for ceasefire the military is now entering the creek. trust me if NDA declared war with the Nigeria army the Nigeria military will bear the highest death.

the military retaliation will be killing poor and defenceless villagers who is not NDA to settled the scores
Why say trash, what does NDA have to with stand the Nigerian Arm Forces? How organized are they tactically? What ammunitions do they have? Do they have fighter jets? Are they trained in warfare? If you don't know Book Haram is more organized the NDA.
Bunch of miscreants looking for handout can't be that effective and what are their demands, so they want Nigeria to be jungle?
It won't happen, never.

'IYC, an umbrella body for Ijaw youths, also called for the immediate withdrawal of troops from the region particularly the creeks of the Niger Delta following the recent ceasefire deal reached with militant youths and stakeholders in the region.

The group stated that there was no reason for military deployment in the region, adding that such was already causing tension and fear among people in the region.'
