Helooo fellow Nairalanders. pls, I need ur urgent help. I am finding it extremely difficult to upgrade my applications on Google playstore. if I attempt 2 upgrade any application dat needs 2 be upgraded, it will just tell me 'downloading' without any progress. what should I do pls? ur help will highly appreciated. Thanks in anticipation.

If network is not an issue for you,,
just go to ur settings,, clear ur google play cache and its data,, restart ur playstore and try again

I ve tried the option u suggested 2 no avail. is there any other way i can rectify d problem pls?

It happened to me once and actually forced me to factory rest my phone.

1. Go to settings
2. Open App
3. Select Google Playstore
4. Select Clear Data
5. Select Clear Cache
6. Relaunch Google Playstore

That should do it.

Have you tried uninstalling updates also?

Go to settings-Add account- remove your google account and sign in again then uninstall google services updates
