it is so unfair. people who sat for exams in centers of exam malpractices and thus, scores about 300+ will be granted admission while those who swot, moiled and scored below will be deprived of admission.

But you should know that some people actually worked hard to score above 300.

I did work hard last year, so I recorded 257 score, so what do you think would have happened if many others aspiring for thesame course scored above that due to exam malpractice?

The post ume exercise still remains justified to me.

Personally,I believe it shouldn't have been scrapped.

My point is;while criticizing those who scored high marks through dubious means you should also be aware that a few people deserve the marks they got as a result of their hard work.

okay, but only “few” of those who worked hard may be admitted, while others will be sent home because some people that cheated scored above them, of which I am totally against.

Okay, they said the reason for scrapping it was that it wasn't legally institutionalized and they charge exorbitant post ume fee which abets graft and malfeasant practises. But to be frank with ourselves, Uniben charges little post ume fee and as long as the post ume proves to be a way of admitting based on merit then they should have left it.

But unfortunately, an insensitive govt that imposes decision and policy without first consulting season stakeholders under such purview is in power.

Lets hoping the admission list will be just.
