You lose an argument when you take it personal or try to discredit the fellow debater. With all his experrience, why is FFK not in any political appointment now. |

To best put, Reno is being too modest. Modesty is good, but shouldn't cloud the sense of good judgment leading to sentimentality. Baba FFK has obviously giving up on "Nigeria " and he has every right to. honestly at this point in our nation's history, I don't know of optimism as expressed by Reno is the way forward... I don't know!!! |

IMHO the hausas tend to stick to their language and rarely resort to English. Such that to reach them you would have to speak their language. The yorubas and igbos however are quite adaptable prefering to assume the white man's way and culture. I'm pretty sure an hausa facebook version would appeal more to the hausa people whereas a Yoruba or igbo version would probably have zero audience with everyone prefering to stay in the English section. Unfortunately this is the main barrier for reaching them as most hausas have serious buying power. |

Caveat: This is just a personal opinion with no intent of inflicting psychological trauma or any intent whatsoever of causing racial or tribal schism. My take on the matter is this: although I do not support the use of verbal shelling with a bid to making your point known to your opponent, in a relatively democratic nation as ours. I think FFK is trying to make a point here by highlighting a pattern which should be critically considered by Nigerians other than core Northerners. No doubts, Sir Reno has good intents by his comments on the Mark Z's facebook inclusion of the hausa language as a facebook language, it cannot deride the fact that FFK is seeing a pattern which connects back to our past. He's comments are factual and true. It is not a given that the northerners are driven by power and this may have affected their ability to see that Nigeria is a diverse economy. To Nigerians, other than core Northerners, have you ever taken the time to notice that a northerner in other parts of the country is allowed to worship freely without fear of being trouble whereas those from other religion who resides in Northern parts of the country worship in fear? This is because, it is only in the North you have religious laws enacted according to a particular religion in a country. In my opinion, for a country that is democratic and not "Religiocratic" this ought not to be so. But this was done years before even I was born. So who am I to question that decision. Recently the US secretary of states came to Nigeria and decides to visit the sultan of Sokoto who "coincidentally is a Northerner. And now, most recently and the centre of debate, Mark Z's inclusion of a core Northern Language in what is arguably the most popular social networking site facebook. In conclusion, if you are a Nigerian, other than the core Northerner, and you don't see the pattern that FFK is smart and proactive enough to see, then I do not know what the future holds for you. I rest my case. |

pple cursing demself here just cuz of this rubish,i guess facebook team have made their research about languages in Africans that why they select hausa,i guess if igbo/yoruba is the most spoken language in African one of the language is going to use there, and for some hausa folks that think they are the best just bcuz facebook insert hausa language to there site just insert this to your brain, white folks cant just do something just bcuz they love but bcuz they wanna use it get something from you,in my own point of view they think adding hausa language to there site can help them get more number of registered users in Africans and more registered users more money they get all they care is about their business not your hausa/igbo/yoruba not at all they don't really care about any african language,is all over the media that the ceo of facebook is in african, and you think he is here bcuz he love african,is only here for hiz business, mounting satellite that can help connecting to facebook for free, atleast having free access to facebook can make facebook get more users and more money, since he come to african I never hear he has donated a bit small money for the poor all he really care is his facebook doh is a good thing having free access to facebook buT all I wanna let you knoW is thaT everything that the white offer to Africans can not be absolutely free but they will just do it just to get what they wanT most especially the us folks..... "some here we just say that me have badbelle for facebook ceo, this is just the #face blive or not,he really act like he love Africans but I will throw my respect to him whenever I hear he helped the poor in africans" "Me chiDubem have just droP view"for critisism niggaz it can't help me nor you,is a new month more blessing folks. |

this ffk is my real nigga, he's not afraid to voice his candid opinions. there is a silent conspiracy going on in Nigeria's political scene. meanwhile, why would someone be killed because of his tribe or religious beliefs? we have heard of these things happening in the north. FFS speak on. |
| Re: Mark Zuckerberg: FFK And Reno Omokri Spar On Facebook Over Comment About Hausa by Badguytinz(m): 2:37am On Sep 02, 2016 |
Coming from an objective point of view, FFK had enough backup to support his stance, he was aggressive tho, which isnt bad, but somewhat unnecessary as Omokori was not "battle ready". I kinda respect FFK, he seems like a sensible guy.... Dont knw why he had to get his hands dirty before tho, else I might have considered him for presidency...thoughts? |
| Re: Mark Zuckerberg: FFK And Reno Omokri Spar On Facebook Over Comment About Hausa by Wyttcat: 4:05am On Sep 02, 2016 |
What are these two going at each other for? Much ado about nothing. Hausa speak their language anytime anywhere even as their official language and the western world has to go to the language. Yoruba won't even speak their language among themselves in the house of representatives. Other Nigerians speak English already and more so than they speak their own languages. Speak your language if you want the world to come to you |

That's a big can of worms no one wants to pop open oo! Christians in Nigeria need to do everything to make sure there's no religious unrest in the country, because the Christians all over the world won't look your way. Despite the Christians being sought out to killed more in Syria, the 10,000 refugees that made it to the U.S. this week are 99% Muslims. What happened to all the Christians who couldn't even go out to where others are getting help? Even Bill Clinton allowed Christians to be killed in Yugoslavia according to historians. Only Nigerians can solve their own problem. Franklin Graham is talking about being neutral in the coming election, so what else is he being neutral on? Your guess is as good as mine. donatus101: |
