Good Morning Nairaland Fam.,
I need serious advice before embarking on this sojourn. Please how credible is a degree obtained from an Online University?, I already applied to take a course in Information Technology, currently studying Economics in FUNAAB; 100level. I have been offered admission by the University though, please I need urgent and serious advice.

First of all, there's nothing like an online university, you only have online or distance learning degrees.

Secondly, the type of university you're applying to matters a lot. There are tuition free ones like UoPeople and there are well known universities offering online degrees like Penn State uni....

So which uni are u applying to?

I agree with the first post. I have people who have online degrees from great schools in UK. Nobody is asking them whether it online or classroom. All the employers want to know is ' can you impact on their organizations with that certificate you are "brandishing"?'

IOU; Islamic Online University. It's not tuition-free though
