Taking over power by coup is the military way of getting power.

However the similarity of Moses and Buhari is very glaring
Like APC is paying you money to defend them abi. You wan compare this clueless and heartless liars to godly men? You mean Moses brought hardship to his people like osinbajo and buhari came to announce fuel increment despite promising 45naira during campaign? I would have loved to see your comment if i had called him a dog, baboon or cow as many posters gladly do.

Please help me park very well.
Did Buhari not first call us dogs and baboons even going further to ask the almajiris that he refused to educate, to soak us in blood for his electoral failure in 2011?
Did he not?
It is only normal that he should be paid back in his own coins, not so?

Really the two men can only be equivalent to Judas Iscariot and blind Bartholomew. What a confused bunch.

I have mentioned this somewhere before and the anti Buhari squad disagreed, but am glad am not the only one who sees things differently. Moses in his time wasn't an easy leader, probably made wrong judgements and he had bad temper and due to disobeying God , he never saw promise land, we don't know the whole story but am sure the Israelites rebelled against him lots of times in the wilderness before they entered into the promise land.

What is factual in a fallacy? Relating a jew to a fulani (a tribe that hates the Jewish race), relating a Jewish prophet chosen by God to a man elected by lying.

Let us just pray that this man performs because he's our president

@Toks2008, on this piece, I concur with you 100%. U're futuristic in you write up.
Human being can do/say anything when hungry.
There's price for every rise and without pain no gain.
Tough times never last for tough people
Enough of this no pain,no gain thingy
The difference between Buhari and Moses is as wide as the Atlantic ocean

Moses was chosen by God,Buhari called himself.

Moses gave purposeful leadership, what is buhari giving? directionless leadership

Moses knew his weaknesses,he understood and used people who are better to help achieve his objective

What do we have, Buhari has turned government to family affair, the only criteria for getting appointment is
you must be Hausa Fulani.

mention 1 thing that dis government has done or is doing well since 2015

Scorecard so far:

Anti corruption: 0
Policy formulation:0
Blueprint for diversifying the economy:0
Economic management:0
Quality of Advisers and Ministers: 2 over 10
Currency Stability:0

This Govt has no plans/ideas to diversify this economy, they are only praying and wishing the price of
crude goes back up and thats the only way they even scracth the surface of the gigantic problem facing
the country as we speak.

concerning anti-corruption,the only thing that made him electable
you can see not even one person has been successfully prosecuted
his approach is archaic

you cant keep doing the same the same way and expect a different result

sori i coulda continue, just just remembered im quoting someone
more will come

Now its so apparent that you did not read the writeup because if you did you will realize that I am equally as pained as you are and of course most people but I have my reasons for what I wrote cos I have never seen any regime as transparent as this present one but as I wrote, it remains my opinion which I'm very entitled to and there is no blasphemy in comparing them with moses or any prophet.
Oga, just park for one side if you do not have anything better to say. Is the wilderness the only route to the promised land?

People are dying of hunger and your are here talking of moses n aaron. So people should continue dying of hunger, so that some will reach the imaginary promised land abi?

Are you now telling us that Buhari, has not defaulted in getting Nigeria, to it's present state, when things could have been done better to avert this present situation?

Even his northern brothers have spoken out about his lack of direction, you are here talking about promised land. Whoever told you about any promised land still baffles me.

Pray to survive till 2019. For everyday that the naira drops in value, the closer some of us are,to getting out of biz cos there is a limit to whch we can pass cost over to consumers.

"Let us blame and curse less but be hopeful and let us support this government by offering viable advice and raising our voices in unity to ask questions if we are not OK with any government policy and together we will create a greater and better Nigeria for the generations to come because the journey from Egypt to the promise land will not happen overnight but we will surely get there".
APC never did the afore mentioned hence should never expect same. All they knew was to play dirty opposition to the point of saying they will form a parallel government should they loose the election.

Toks2008:
President Buhari like the moses in the Bible was sent packing from the position of authority some years back but made a come back to be the leader.

This time around he did not come back with the background he was known for as a military man but as a civilian just like moses who was known to be part of pharaoh's household came back as an unassuming fellow to lead the Israelites out of Egypt to the promise land.

I don't know what anyone else believes but I strongly believe that President Buhari is the moses of our time that will lead us out of our Egypt experience, take us through the wilderness experience but may likely not enter the promise land with us.

Now let's see the allegory;

In the life of every human or nation, there is always the Egypt experience, the wilderness experience before the promise land experience.

During the Egypt experience, the situation may seem OK but it is a disguised bondage but if you decide to leave your Egypt experience, you must be ready for a very tough wilderness experience that will make you wish you go back to Egypt.

The wilderness experience is a must for anyone or any nation desiring a promise land and those who prefer to create a comfort zone in their Egypt experience will never see the promise land.

The Buhari and Osinbanjo led government are like the Moses and Aaron of our time and the years we thought were OK in the Egypt experience only seem to be because we were in great bondage to leaders who looted our treasury with impunity while patting our heads with a ticking time bomb.

The years we thought we were OK in our Egypt experience were the years our leaders fed fat on the abundance inflow of good profits from our crude oil while throwing crumbs to the floor for us to feed on.

Like the Israelites who were already frustrated with their condition and needed a quick fix, their wilderness experience was tough and very discouraging which made them doubt the competence of Moses and Aaron and in like manner,Nigerians have gone through years of frustration and in need of a quick fix but unfortunately undergoing very very tough times which is a wilderness experience for us and this has made most Nigerians doubt the competence of President Buhari and vice president Osinbanjo.

The Israelites said to Moses and Aaron,
"If only we had died by the LORD's hand in Egypt! There we sat around pots of meat and ate all the food we wanted, but you have brought us out into this desert to starve this entire assembly to death." Exodus 16:3

Yes like Moses and Aaron who made series of mistakes, it is expected for our leaders to make mistakes too but just as some Israelites persevered, prayed and supported Moses and Aaron which saw them to the promise land, let us pray and believe in the course of this seemingly "clueless" government and I'm positive that we shall get to the promise land.

Lastly, we must understand that Moses and Aaron started the journey with Israelites to the promise land but not even one of their generations who left Egypt entered the promise land but it was Joshua who eventually led the younger Israelites into it so in like manner, it just might be a Joshua who is yet unknown that will lead us to the promise land but the journey has begun and together we can channel a new course for the coming generation into a new Nigeria that will be the envy of the whole world.

Let us blame and curse less but be hopeful and let us support this government by offering viable advice and raising our voices in unity to ask questions if we are not OK with any government policy and together we will create a greater and better Nigeria for the generations to come because the journey from Egypt to the promise land will not happen overnight but we will surely get there.

God bless the Federal republic of Nigeria.

The experience of the israelites in Egypt was never disguised bondage. They were in clear bondage. Forced labour and slavery, was that disguised bondage? You may console yourself with your belief in Buhari but do not twist bible facts to suit your narrative. Nigerians are not complaining of hardship because they hate the president, but because they want to see policies in place, addressing the present challenges. We can't get anywhere with policy flip flops, and dont forget this is the twenty first century, where investors are sensitive to the smallest details of govt policy. Lastly, how many times would Nigeria come out of Egypt?
