they have seen that running a nation as complex as Nigeria is not so easy.

as at 2014, Nigeria was an emerging mixed mid-level economy, meaning the country was slowly, but surely diversifying...

non-oil exports were growing. could it have happened faster? maybe... but it was growing...

but that growth was & will always be severely hampered by the lopsided structure. until adjustments are made to that structure, nothing will work as it should.

that position informed the CONFAB. warts & all, it was a framework which Nigeria could have used to move forward in greater increments.

for instance, you can't have a system where distribution of wealth is based on landmass, population, special considerations (e.g, EDS for people who don't want to go to school in the first place) & local governments.

you can't sustain a system that supports legislatures that are disconnected from their constituencies. the constituencies of the legislatures should fund their stay in abuja not the FG.

for those that will be quick to blame GEJ & the ND militants for the recession, please note, the non-oil revenue is falling... so who would you blame for that?
