And this's why we need to take control of education in Africa. Imagine such a man and his ingenuity, but it doesn't appear anywhere in Yoruba textbooks, schools and history books. Instead we're busy studying Lord Lugard and Mungo Park.

I don't know y some people will be looking for an inaccuracy in a write up. If it's not in Yorubaland, it could be from the community/village that d man was born. I think what we need is to react to the man's perseverance, honesty, diligence and hard work n appreciate Op for bringing this to our note.
