He was a very talented writer too. As a kid I read one of the poetry books he wrote for children. I still remember the very first words in the book.

IBB is a brutal monster that exterminated his enemies in the most brutal way. Dele Giwa, Vatsa, all the brilliant army officers implicated in phantom coups and a host of others whose lives were terminated prematurely, their blood are crying out for justice.

IBB deserves a slow, very painful death, I pray God forgives him though.

I saw the documentary of Vasta as far back as 2008 and till date, I can't just get my mind off what happened between IBB and Vasta.

Imagine, IBB was even the best man during Vasta's wedding ooo...

At the meeting to decide the fate of vasta,some officers wanted more time in order to be sure but when it was time to vote ,ibb was the first to raise his hands up voting for the execution,immediately he raised his hands all other officers at the meeting had no choice since the c-in-c has voted

He was framed up. According to a documentary... It was detailed that Vasta's distributed N40 to loyalists to carry out a coup.
At as that time, N40 was even too small to carry out a coup because some soldiers were far paid better than the said amount...

We should give it up to the Maradona of Nigeria Politics, IBB!! A brutal killer.

So many innocent guys were framed then.. It's all about politics and d side you get caught up on.

Well u are right sha..but don't forget camporoe and Sankara too were friends.. Although Camporoe organized the coup that brought Sankara to power.. Samuel Dou guy..very brutal too..

Anyone who knows the story of how Thomas Sankara was killed in an already successful coup by his best friend, childhood friend and his deputy would understand why IBB did not take chances with Mamman Vatsa. The painful thing about betrayal is that it never comes from ones enemies.

That's right. Thomas sankara was a man of d people and had good intentions for his country. So sad d way he was killed. His burial place unknown and d killer in power for a very long time.

Mamman Vatsa was convicted by a Military Court for involvement in a coup and consequently executed. Why all the seasonal drama depicting him a hero?

Mamman Vatsa would have killed IBB if he had succeeded and tarnished his image even in death so that no one would have any sympathy for him (IBB) he knew the consequences of plotting to overthrow a government. Like I said before, Blaise Campoare killed his best friend Thomas Sankara, the president of Burkina Fasso in the eighties about the same time with Vatsa, and ruled the country close to 30 years.

it doesn't matter am not responsible for any human soul death and i didnt loot the my countries common wealth which result to death of thousand through poor health care and poverty
we we will all meet the lord with less baggage
