HAH:
My sister indomie was introduced to the Nigerian market in 1991 anyone born from then till today is from the indomie generation.

No vex o

Funny enough. Very few people remember indomie came in 2 flavours..

Chicken flavor and shrimp flavour.

The shrimp flavour was my favorite. Such a shame that was the one they now stopped

Yes oo. What a good memory you have. Nigerian TV has nothing for the kids of nowadays.

Back in the days we had. Storyline, tales by moonlight, nescao kiddies show. Sesame Street.

Now, zero..

Do you remember Fortune. Then one sitcom that the Amatas acted in

Yes I remember fortune which later changed to mega fortunes where Ramsey Noah made his name

Do you remember kiddie vision 101 the programm for kids and also kessinsheen hit show hosted by Mustapha Amego where we see latesr music being danced for in a club

That sitcom you are talking of is it Behind the cloud where Zack amata was Nosa( the guy died while the series in on going and his death led to untimely end of the series) father

ajepako:
You are not an lndomie generation and you didnt watch checkmates in the early 90s?

Then you must live abroad then..or not in Southern states..

Checkmates was a major soap opera and Ego Nnamani now Ego Boyo was the principal character. That is the drama that brought actors like Bob Manuel Odokwu, late Francis Agu, Kunle Bamtefa, late Toun Oni, John Njamah to lime light...

Well done beta pickin. You must be a veteran Nigeria. Checkmate also birthed 'Fuji house of commotion'.

Richy4:
I never knew Francis Agu has passed on... I kinda google it now to be sure..... " iche million" A Very cool guy..

Richy4 you be old man sha . Late Francis Agu was known for selling items in order to maintain his drugs addiction in CheckMate. Me too I be old man

Nostalgia... Olu Jacobs played the detective with his daughter (the Third Eye) always helping him to solve his cases by offering a "third eye" per say.

I wonder who among our present day actors is that his Daughter, in third eye, then we were told she was his real daughter

Ego Boyo the woman who gave us pure entertainment every Thursday night.

You had passion. You had grace. You had charm.

Hmmm....Kunle Bamtefa.....Ma be'gi fun e!
You forgot some characters, Anjola Oluwa Daniels played by Antar Laniyan, Then there was Kunle Peters, Anne's office mate, then Francis Agu's wife in the series, I've forgotten her name. Also, Nduka (Bimbo Manuel), his wife Mildred Iweka with her big eyeballs, then his village wife, Nkemji played by Uche Osotule. Very interesting play then. This sitcom used to make our Fridays spectacular in school cos we'd gist and gist about it. Gone are the see days and we always look back with nostalgia.

Happy Birthday! our own dear Anne Haastrop.
