Hi everyone!

Was just wondering if there are any cat owners on Nairaland? I always see dogs and hardly any cats on here. Just wondering?

In the meantime these are my cats - Momo and Bageera.

I see lots of folks post snakes and rabbits they kill for meals on the front page. Some animals like dogs and cats should be left out lol. I can't imagine eating a cat.

The white old witch had a beef with the neighbor. She lured the cat in and put it in her microwave. Someone saw her dump it in a bin.

Cats are excellent species of animals that are great for those who love non aggressive pets. Good for maintaining a rodent-free enviroment Love them too.

Oh finally.. So there are people who love cats in Nigeria. I was raised as a kid around cats parents bought them specifically to kill rats though. Most Nigerians I have told that cat is my favorite pet look at me like I am crazy.
What pisses me off the most is that a lot them say cats are dangerous because they can be used to do spiritual evil works. I try to convince them whenever I hear that though. Ugh.. .

What I ask them is, if humans(witches) possess cats then that means we should be more terrified of humans instead of cats? They never seem to understand the question

Lol. I love the glowy eyes though. And most especially the meow... I mimicked that sound all the time, good old memories. Can't wait to have one.

Ummm.. I don't know why Nigerians just can't leave cats alone.
I still remember the day mom had us carry our first cat to grandma's house so she could kill it for us to eat. I was there when she started, i left the scene and I cried outside. Sounds so horrible how my beloved cat was crying while being killed. [tears almost falling from my eyes as I am typing this.] sad memory.

I love cats.

A law should be passed, Any one who eat or even think of eating cat/dogs should be shot at the spot. Must you eat everything? It is even more expensive to eat cats i think so this isn't a question of poverty.
