So they had to come and practice their Airport counter strategy in a functional airport ? What happened to using a discrete set for this because for all you know terrorist element might have been in the airport monitoring their counter offensive strategy and the will use it to build thier own plan when ever they plan an attack

"The exercise was codenamed “EXERCISE STEEL DOME” meaning fortified arena, and the aim to ascertain NAF’s readiness to respond to occurrence of terrorist attack in any of the nation’s airports." Meaning there is no readiness before now but only that of molesting innocent citizens? This exercise should not be staged in the open- may be a military airport or their own wing of a public airport.Now they have unwittingly given good intelligence to the terrorist on how to counter their action.Well nice kitted Nigerian military.

Let us give them kudos for doing this, rather than saying trash. This exercise is conducted to enable our security forces learn how to rout terrorists in case they take control of our main airports in the country. Imagine terrorist holding up civilians in an international airport without the security forces not being able to save the situation, will that speak well of our great nation ? NO
So let's us join hands and mouth to make this nation great again. You need to see how Americans applaud their soldiers when conducting exercises like this.

I tot we had a SWAT division in this country... And if they must carry out such exercise.let it be covert ops..and not making noise and telling be public which comprises of the terrorist themselves.. They should also think about night covert ops..because these days..terrorist don't attack in day time..day time attack Naa kids of terrorists de plan am..I've never seen a black goat being pursued at night and is caught easily.. I disagree. Soldiers train as they fight and since the Nigerian military is at war with Nigerians, (as evidence by the way the brutalize civilians on a daily basis) it is common sense for them to train in the midst of it's terrain and people.

I am more concerned about the fact that this drill was not only videoed but also aired to the public... so if i wanted to plan such an attack all i would have to do is grab a copy and watch it, to develop my strategy for beating the military. I hope there is some hidden wisdom in this but from what i know of such operations, counter-terrorism contingencies are meant to be secretive.

This special operations excerise, should have been done by joint special unit of the Nigeria police, civil defence and Dss not the Nigeria airfore. The special operations command of the Nigeria air force should focus more on the north east and the Niger Delta. The terrorists laying down should have been handcuff not crossing their hand, they might be strap with very small size of c4 ready to degnate
