@ iomoge2, I asked earlier but you didn't respond. Please, I need your help on how to shop on foreign online stores. I know you are a pro. help a sister. Don't mind contacting you o

Shopping on alliexpress is relatively easy.
I will advise u download d app from your app store.
Update your profile with your address... delivery address...
The major thing here is the postal code.
We always use 23401.. or 23409... but its not so.
Go to NIPOST website and search for the address of your area.
And include that when registering your address.
Another thing is to get a card that can pay in other currencies.
I will advise GTBank card or stanbic.
I personally use Diamond Card n Gtbank but had to stop Diamond when they suspended international payments due to Buhari factor....

Check with your bank to ensure your card is activated for online payement. Ie. If its a master card, activate it online by using your token.
If its a visa card, generate an iPin using your bank Atm.

Register the card to your profile on alliexpress.

Then proced to shop
Shopping is another thing.
Alliexpress has numerous sellers selling The same thing... so competition is number one.
For me, when buying... i search for what i want... say baby disposable diaper...
Then i sort by number of orders- i do this because so many people wont buy from the same shop if they sell bad things....
That is, u will find a shop that has sold 7000 pieces and gotten 5000 feedback with a rating of 4.8
And another that sold 5 with 4.9 rating.....
I wont let the second shop get my attention... i will stick with the first. . Tested n trusted. -thats me

Then i also carefull check the product information.
Conversion is my friend esp when buying foot wears.... cos or size variations.... but i still ho a step higher
I wear size 37 but always shop for size 38 and it has never failed me.... chinese people have small legs.

I have never bought cloths to wear... this is because.... i am on d big side... so no need trying.
But my cuz who did didn't find it funny.
So when buying cloths... be sure of the shops reputation and quality of material.
Size too.... inface take a measuring tape and practically and physically measure what u r buying on your body before paying.

I buy jeweries a lot and this i sell at work.
Infact this is one of the things i buy as often as possible.
My office people know me for this and once i buy, its all gone in a week.
Although i had a bad experience in d beginning when i was looking for cheapee.... until i met onebor two sellers that sell quality to me and advised me on how to spot good and fake....i have jeweries people have been using for 3 years with no issues.....g

I also buy hair a lot.
I go for grade 7a and 8a.
Thats the best quality, although i started with 4a den as it was the best...say 4 years ago.

Thing is don't be too into extra cheap.... else ur money will blow....
Then practise makes perfect.
When u see what u like, add it to your cart then when sizable.... proceed to place the order n check out.

Free shipping is sweet but u will wait for 20-40days...

If i have a pressing order... i use dhl and make sure am buying plenty things from the same seller... so i spread the paynent on d stuffs bought.
Most times u can get 20$ shipping via ems, dhl, ups or the likes and its kk for me....

the major snag is that gtbank now allows only 100$daily limit.... lol.
So paying for something above 100$ is big work.
One thing u can do is chat up the supplier. ... infact do this before placing ur order.... u will see the chat supplier icon. Intitate it and ask if they have what u want in store.... b4 paying.
Most of them just put things and after u pay, they may want to replace the items... imagine.. like making u buy what u dont want.....
So i always chat them up n we agree they have it b4 i pay.

I am writting this here so others can chip n and advise more.... me sef am a learner... wanna learn more.

I have seen some guys that use some small shippers and they get their goods in 4 days for cheaper amount. ... talking about some shippers being in ikeja or so... i havent wrapped my head around it so i dont know how it will work yet.
Any1 with useful info...please help out.if its a better shipping option.

Forgive typos o.
I cant read back biko.
I hardly do.

Speaking of weaning, pls how do one go about it? Will i just stop cold turkey (as in all at once) or gradual? What and what can i use to reduce the pain and engorgement?

Stop o.
At once.. and be serious especially at night cos its easier to give baby boobies at night to stop d wailing.

Tell ur baby no more boobies for u.
The child will hear. Lol
Then use cabbage to wrap ya boobies be4 wearing bra.

This helps a lot.
Do it as often as possible.
If your child is crying too much. Take him/ her to grand parents let the baby spend 3days...
At night when baby wakes up make better tea. Feed baby n pet to sleep... night is more difficult.

No pity pity if u r serious.

I no get experience o.

Praise God. Little princess came yesterday afternoon through scheduled induction with epidural @ 39w4d weighting in at 3.3 kg.
B.S. not dramatic as induction to birth was 4 hrs and had my epidural topped up to the end including during pushing and episiotomy stitch (can't come and kill myself). The only thing dramatic about it was trying to get to the hospital in time for my appointment through traffic- VI traffic has been crazy this week.

Baby breast and bottle feeding already. vigil has started.

Nancyij, sorry about your LO. We had the same issue too and I found out milk was the culprit. I stopped talking milk and he was fine. You should try that, some of these babies can't tolerate cow milk.

Chaiiiii. Abeg oooo. It doesn't always work like this oooo.
@ iyawotobe, I want to advise you based on personal experience. I'll suggest you don't go cold turkey.
Firstly, it may wreck you emotionally considering the fact that you are pregnant. Will you be able to withstand watching your baby cry for hours without food? Some babies can stay for one week without their mum but once they see their mum, they want their boobi back and the cry starts all over again.
Secondly, a woman can actually breastfeed a baby while pregnant as long as it's not a risk to you or the baby in your womb. I took in for my 3rd baby when my second was just 9mths old and I weaned him off boobi at one year.
This is what I did, I reduced the number of times I breastfed him in the daytime, I do one less feeding per day every three days. For night feeding, I make sure he eats enough cereal before bed and I offer water if he wakes up and breastfeed once in the early morning. If you breastfeed like 4 times in d night, you can start reducing it that way, your body adjusts to this.
I have super supply when I'm breastfeeding but I've never had engorgement issues while weaning and my children sleep through the night once I wean them.
I also heard that some children are very sensitive to pregnancy hormones so they wean themselves once their mum gets pregnant.
I'll only suggest going cold turkey if the child is about 15 mths, eats solid well but is difficult to wean because he uses breast to soothe.
In all, choose what works best for you.

Gradual process is the best method for weaning if there is still time.
I wean my baby 2 wks to her bday and it was easy.i started at 6 month gradually by stopping breastfeeding at night and by 7 month she learnt how to sleep through out the night without feeding.when it was time to stop breastfeeding, she was already like 3 month use to not eating at night and the weaning process was easy.

You can start by feeding well before bedtime and when she wakes at night give ther other food not breast milk.she will adjust within 3 wks.

pregnacy hormones does not dry up the milk completely, but it reduces the amount of milk u produce.
