Good evening the gurus in the house.. please can anyone help explain why am having a Maintenance Required Soon on my dashboard. This is a car that I bought almost a month now. Though the check engine light & VSC light came on after getting home the day the car was bought. The auto diagnosis carried out reveal Catalyst converter was stolen and I purchased and replaced it, then the code was erased and it never came back gain. Please note that was properly serviced with Lubex SYN 5W30 Oil with Toyota Oil filter. Just yesterday evening after returning from, as I was about going out at night, immediately I started the car, the maintenance required soon warning displayed on the dashboard. Can any one tell me what the issue is please. Tanx and God bless. |

1. With vehicle ignition switched to ON position make sure odometer is showing Tripmeter A then turn the ignition switch to OFF position 2. Push and hold the TRIP/RESET or MODE button 3. While holding reset button switch ignition to ON position w/ ENGINE START/STOP button keep your foot off brake pedal and push ENGINE START/STOP button twice to get Key On/ Engine Off mode 4. Continue to hold the reset button until the odometer displays 000000 and then the original value is displayed 5. Turn the vehicle off and back on to confirm reset was accepted |

Just hold down the trip button and turn ur car key to ON(do not start the car). Hold down till the maintenance required soon light goes off. You probably did ur oil change before it came up. |
