CandyDiamond:If any tribe is agitating the way you are doing,a lot of discerning people would not support them.Change your system. We SUPPORT YOUR BIAFRA AGITATION.IT WOULD SHOW HOW GOOD OR BAD YOU ARE TO LIVE INDEPENDENTLY ALTHOUGH WE HAVE TRIED IT DURING REGIONALISM AND ONLY THE SW COULD BOAST OF ANYTHING DEVELOPMENT...Goodluck as you use wisdom to fight for your freedom. |

jara:So freaking what? yoruba contribution to Palm oil is equivalent to Yoruba contribution to crude oil... insignificant. You've been parasites since day 1 and that is why you lots along with North have been holding onto "one nigeria" desperately. Funny thing is North, specifically middlebelt, held their weight in the past. We all thought you did based on una propaganda regarding cocoa. Now it's exposed una did not. From day 1 to current...you've been parasites. It explains so freaking much |

The conclusion on the whole story. As 1914 no region is a feeding Nigeria, 1. The British where exploring and exporting everything valuable resources they find in Nigeria. 2. The British where not exporting all their items through lagos seaport. Beacuse there were other seaports along the coast from Calaba to Lagos. |

Ikechukwu48:You are right Oyigbo and Etche are Igbo,No argument. Why the abuse? The abandoned property saga was not only Ijaw ,that is not true .In fact the Ijaws were not the main actors, enough said. You are a very smart guy. I can tell that from reading your contributions, you come from a line of very smart people... |
| Re: Annual Report Of 1914: Palm Oil Highest Revenue Earner by Ikechukwu48: 5:08pm On Sep 10, 2016 |
aribisala0:Oh now you're changing your story and wondering why the abuse? Were you not the same person that asked candydiamond when she mentioned river state "are they igbo?" The problem with you lots is you think you are only arguing with Igbos from SE on this forum only. Newsflash....you are not. Igbos from SS know our fucking selves and we'll be here to shut una despicable asses up when you lots start your divide and rule desperado. As for the rest of your post. Smfh. The ijaws blamed Ikwerre in effort to get the SE turned on ikwerres..which worked....Surprisedly, the ikwerres have always held their innocence on that part of history and thus far, the ijaws apologizes as of date have vindicated them. The Ogoni, degema, etc never partook in the abandoned property either. |

Ikechukwu48:So if I have a different opinion that gives you the right to abuse? Is that how things work in your world. I stiil stand by by question are they Igbo. I hve every right to ask the question. "There are Muslims in Nigeria" is not the same as "Nigerians are Muslims". Still You have no right to abuse me no matter what.Try and learn some manners |

aribisala0:Once again, he's trying desperately to grasp straws in effort to save face. Smfh. And yes I'll abuse you. You yoruba daily behavior on NL disgust the crap out of me. Now duh times a billion that river state is not Igboland and neither did candydiamond said it was. You know exactly wtf you were trying to do. Due to SE ignorance on their own brethren in SS, You tried to be myopic in your attempt to ridicule thinking as usual you won't get any igbo to counter your divide and rule attempt due to SE ignorance. Unfortunately for you, you lots aren't dealing with SE igbo alone anymore ![]() Now back to what I'm saying...Rivers tate is not one tribe state like fucking DUH!!! Igbos can't claim river state as Igboland likewise ijaws can't claim it as ijaw land likewise Ogoni, Degema, etc. Only the part that are igbo such as oyigbo, etc can be classified as igboland...which is exactly what candy diamond was implying in her post. Come on get out with your face saving attempt. |

CandyDiamond:Before 1914 the southwest cultivated palmoil and by 1938 it increased due to british war efforts.awolowo had it in his autobiography titled 'AWO' about how the british distributed posters of hitler with a big palm kernel dropping on top of his head to encourage more export of palm products from western nigeria.osun state is littered with old palm farms which have largely been neglected.so where u get this idea from that western nigeria produced just cocoa is unclear to us. |

| Re: Annual Report Of 1914: Palm Oil Highest Revenue Earner by lawani(m): 8:49pm On Sep 10, 2016 |
During colonial times, government revenue was from head tax, cattle tax, income tax and etc. In the western region, they inaugurated the produce board which was a corporation that was involved in West African farm produce export, they bought anywhere even in the East but in the West they buy from farmers and pay later after selling. However in other places they paid cash. It became a huge revenue source for the West but that revenue would be a fraction of value of exports. So dont count forex as government revenue. In today's Nigeria, remittances bring more forex than oil, even Nollywood brings more forex than oil. Then there are still other things but oil forex is under govt control. So exports dont equal to govt revenue, the major part goes to farmers, traders, companies and etc. Govt takes a very small portion. No country relies on export to survive, you survive on your GDP of which export is a small fraction, very small. Then everywhere you go in Yoruba land, you see palm trees all over but Igbo land capitalises on it while Urhobos are the experts. There are thousands of Urhobos in Ijesa Osun for instance farming palm oil. You find them in the East? We were in that industry in Ilesa, my Dad had a factory back then. So that figure is for 17 Southern states then Kwara, Kogi, Niger, Benue at least 21 states but as a unit Igbo land produce more I believe. |
