lelme ask a question. What if someone that has been invited for the first batch of admission and screening now bleeps up in the screening. Is there hope for a second batch or the person is completely thrown out.

If passing the screening is what should have had the person's name in the list, then yes, the person is completely thrown out.

Yea. That's what Uniben did from the look of things. The people they invited are the first batch admission list.
Now, if the people they invited have already made the list, that's bad news for those not invited yet. Because that means as it stands, Uniben already has 1st and 80% 2nd batch admission list compiled, meaning not everybody will get invited for the second batch because about 60% of the available space would have already been filled, leaving Uniben with no option than to invite ONLY those who made the second batch like they did with the first.
Now, if the people they invited are rather going to fight for their admission via face-face screening (which I doubt) , still bad news for those not invited because it means their chances of getting admitted depends on how many first batchers are able to ace their face-face screening. This means Uniben will admit as many that can pass the screening. Imagine Uniben inviting 7000 students and 6,500 pass the screening, E don be for second batch be that oh!
Those not invited yet, please don't start giving up. Though, I know it's easier said than done. Just remain hopeful, all will work out well.
But still put it at the back of your minds that the fact you have not been invited is not a guarantee that you will be, in the second batch. Uniben will most certainly not invite everybody who crossed the benchmark, they cannot handle such a crowd. Impossicant!
And Incase most of you have not noticed, admission don start. The moment everyone has been waiting for. Goodluck to ya'all.

Bro Uniben could definitely not handle over 20k in just 3 days, they made a wise decision to split us in batches. Besides u speculating based on procedures of previous years but this year is different.

don't worry when you get to the screening centre you will wish, you were never there....

From a reliable Source - Uniben don't wish to correct any error, in past years when you have such errors you fill correction form but this year its gonna be a method to forfeit admission

Someone I know said the screening is according to your faculty. So if you have not been invited just relax,am sure you would still get invited

I didn't give out a judgement, neither did I reach a conclusion, that is if you read what I wrote. So, I think speculation is the wrong word to use. I was merely trying to make sense of the whole admission process while stating at the end that I might be wrong.

Besides, so you think those who passed the benchmark are just over 20k? Wake-up! Those who passed should be nothing less than 39k.

Uniben admits about 7000 students or so every year and even at that, it takes about 4-5 months to complete the clearance process for these students, not to mention 39k or even 20k like you said. And Uniben wants to do this, compile list, invite those who passed again, start their clearance process and still meet up with the academic calendar?

Toh! Let's just wait and see how it goes sha. I might be wrong.

UNIBEN 2016/2017 SUPPLEMENTARY FORM IS OUT

Finally, the University Of Benin, UNIBEN have decided to put smile on the face of her aspirants especially those who did not made to their courses cut off. Well, this can be considered as an answered prayer and I know that those candidates are happy and are thanking God.

The University Of Benin urged those that choose UNIBEN as their first choice and scored up to 200 on their JAMB but did not reach to their course cut off point, that they are invited to apply for the screening exercise which will commence on the 14th of September 2016.
