Ongoing mission is different from mission launching. Yes.....we see footage from ongoing missions all the time..... always...after the fact.... after the raid...after the bombing... after capture. Did the US military show footage of the Navy Seals taking off from their base wherever in helicopters on their way to capture or kill Bin Laden? .... or any other footage of them taking off/on their way to accomplish a stated mission? There's a time for everything.

US Got Into Islamabad, Pakistan Illegally with the help of JSTARS even if there is any video footage it won't be released. Now let us talk about other military operations the US released a lot of after mission videos

Am glad our army is beginning to learn how to play the propaganda card. Most western military are not as strong as they appear when it come to practical warfare but through media and publicised drill exercises, they display ultra modern weapons to scare the shit out of potential enemies and make them think twice. US for example is very notorious for this with the way they potray their armed forces in Hollywood movies and media. but look at what happened in Vietnam , Iraq and other middle eastern fare where they had to pull out shamefully
