Hello,

I'm Oma, Professional makeup artist at O.M.A. Artistry, a Lagos based Professional Makeup and Beauty Services outfit.

This is a beautiful soft smokey eye look I created on my Ivory skin client for a night time event. I went soft on the smokey in order to avoid it looking harsh against her light skin because makeup isn't supposed to be overwhelming.

This look is perfect for a party, wedding or even daytime because it's not the usual intense smokey eye.

What's this black people obsession with light skinned black people.

I think it's a human thing. Even in old European fairytalestyle you read about fair skinned maiden. I also hear about this inferiority complex in indian culture. I say let people have their preference. It you don't like Dark girls that means more for me.

My own issue is when it seems like they put one over the other or wheb one is uplifted while the other is disparaged.
