Sorry I have to bring you back to a topic posted about 3 months ago. I had to do so because I see wisdom in several of your posts but I have to disagree with this particular line which I highlighted.

Have you ever asked God his view about Biafra.?

If Yes, what did He tell you.

If No, please do.

I will discuss further when you respond.

Thanks.
I don't see Biafra becoming that great country we desire, not because Igbos aren't great people, but because the crop of politicians we have in Igbo land now are corrupt, evil, selfish. And no matter what you think, these crop of politicians have the money, the influence, the followers, etc to cause chaos in Biafra should Biafra gain freedom.

If Biafra gets freedom, there will be multiple factions seeking for leadership/power. The Biafran youths will reject this move and this will lead to a very dangerous situation of total breakdown in law and order in Biafra that will likely lead to a very brutal civil war within Biafran states.

Anambra people are more ambitious and power-drunk than any other Igbo state, and Anambra people love dominating others, so if Biafra comes, Anambra people, especially those from Nnewi would want to be in charge of leadership, and other Biafran states will reject this, and this will lead to formation of factions and Biafran government rebels, hence, another deadly war will spring up in Biafra.

If Biafra gets freedom with Niger Delta, and then Southeast refuses to implement total confederation system to enable each Biafra state and region control its resources and remit a certain percentage to the Biafran central government, there will be another civil war and power tussle between Southeastern parts of Biafra and Southsouthern part of Biafra for another secession.

For Biafra to work and become that great nation Biafran youths desire, there should be lots of planning ahead...there should be signed agreements on how the leadership will be, how resources will be managed and the kind of government to be operated ahead, if not, there will be total disaster in Biafra should the freedom come.

op you made a very good point. you are perfectly correct. In addition, Nnamdi Kalu have made biafra struggle more complicated.

1. No doubt he have re-awakened the consciousness in our people for the desire for self independence.

2. he have made the fame of biafra to grow like a wild fire.

3.he have opened the eyes of our brothers in niger delta and other minorities in Nig of northern oligarchy .

4. he has made Buhari and his northern brothers to have sleepless nights ( hence, Buhari stated in his daura Home that the igbos should forget about biafra).. his contributions are enormous.

BUT, on the contrary, Nnamdi Kalu has caused a great damage to the biafra struggle which has attracted undue hatred for igbos even those who remain undecided on the biafra project:

1. Nnamdi Kali have incited the igbos and Yorubas against themselves by his unguided utterances. last year, if you where following radio biafra broadcasts, you will recall the extent of name calling and insults the man heaps on yorubas for no justifiable reasons. he even extended his vituperations to great gospel preachers. this alone had incurred the wrath of yorubas. you can't beat a child and tell him not to cry.

2.nnamdi kalu in his internet radio broadcasts has seized the opportunity to extend his insults to western countries whom we ought to have curry their support, seeing the level of injustices of Nig govt against easterners. the western world don't joke with information. he may think that they don't care about his defamation, alas! they do. Nnamdi kalu insulted Obama on countless occasions, he insulted David Cameron and others. you wonder why John Kerry and other American personalities don't visit or care about what happens in the east.

3. Nnamdi kalu have twisted religion and political issues such that people are confused about things..

4.During the election, Nnamdi kalu insulted Jonathan and told people not to participate in the election. Jonathan is an international figure that could work things out to favor biafra. he extended his insults and name calling to eastern politicians making it look as if some people are against the biafra. he has worsened biafra struggle to attract excessive hatred for igbos
This is the same reason I prefer MASSOB over IPOB. The former seem to more mature and strategic than the later.

Lol!
Different day, same trash.

Anambra people are power drunk and would like to Lord over the Rest of Ndiigbo. Yet. Uwazururike an Imo man was the leader of MASSOB for years and MASSOB had the biggest fellowship in Igboland in Onitsha Anambra state.

Currently the leader of IPOB Nnamdi Kanu is from Abia state, yet Asaba-Onitsha axis is the hottest spot of IPOB membership and agitation, only Aba can come close to Onitsha in this Igbo renaissance March championed by IPOB led by a non Anambra Igbo man.

Currently, the President of Ohanaeze Ndiigbo is from
Ebonyi state, and before him was Uwaechue from Anioma Delta state.

Michael Okpara reigned all over the Eastern region and was loved by all, he never for once was antagonize by Anambrarians.

Jim Nwobodo from Nkanu area in present Enugu state was the governor of Old Anambra state, and was never for once castigated by Ndi Anambra, he was loved all over the area.

The Anambra man might be a proud man, driven by desire for success and need to be the best amongst equals but when it comes to Igbo nationalism, no other Igbo man can surpass the Anambra man patriotism to the Igbo nation.

This is why I hate it when non Igbos start dabbling into Igbo affairs. Ndiigbo are not Yorubas that were all fighting each other. The delicate art of Peace and conflict resolution through dialogues and negotiations is an art our ancestors had relatively mastered centuries ago.

It will serve us well in Biafra.

I am Igbo too, and I also wish the best for Igbo tribe, but truth must be told; Anambra people, especially those from Nnewi are more power-drunk than any other Igbo person.

Go and see what Anambra people have been doing at Trade Fair, ASPAMDA market, Balogun Market, Alaba International market....they take the leadership in those markets as their birthright and no other Igbo indigene is fit to lead there except them. The happenings there alone is something to ponder and worry about the future of Biafran leadership if actualized.

Anambra people maybe acting nonchalant and loyal now that the struggle for Biafra has not been actualized, but I bet you, once it is actualized, Anambra people will rear their heads up to agitate for power.

Like I said, their attitudes in most popular Nigerian markets' leadership is repulsive because they paint the Igbo tribe as disorganized power-drunk people which isn't true.

So these issues are some of the many issues to be raised, discussed and resolved before Biafra is actualized, but if we keep assuming that all is well and that all will go well with Biafra once its actualized, then we are fooling ourselves because we all know that there are many power-drunk people laying silent and waiting for Biafra's freedom to come to enable them come after the leadership tussle, that is the sad truth my brother

@ATTACKGAT...U started ur post with a tribal insult which is a pity.anyway the reason why awo fought to keep the ibos in nigeria and actually enjoyed the fact that there was a war in iboland was just basic animal nature in human beings,in awolowo in this case.he wanted to punish zik and the ibos.if u know the accounts of what happened in western region in 1962 maybe u will understand his position.he never forgave zik.b4 independence when the constitution was being prepared, awo fought seriously 4 the inclusion of a secession clause because he knew being together with hausafulanis and ibos would never work and disturb his plans 4 the yorubas.zik and the ibo politicians fought against the clause and encouraged the north to also embrace one nigeria.2geda the got the british to pass a law that any mention of secession would be treatf as treason.the ibos went on to join the north to run nigeria.later in 62 ncnc parleyed with akintola to weaken action group.we all kw wat happenf to the ibos 5yrs later.

@op. Nice piece but every igbo man knows yorubas don't hate the igbos but that they are jealous and afraid of igbos. I've often wondered why yorubas still want one nigeria and not fight for their oduduwa kingdom and i realised that the yoruba tribe can't stand on their own. If yorubas were to secede with igbos then the igbos will dominate them. This one nigeria is the only way to keep igbos at bay. Yorubas are jealous and afraid of igbos. FACT.

Brother. Those are minor squabbles that can always be sorted out.

Its already happening in Nigeria and is worst already here, so it can't get worst in Biafra. In Biafra, it will naturally be sorted out, when true federalism become entrenched into the system.

There are no historical back up to the story of Anambra trying to Lord it over other Igbos. Nri kingdom was not an imperial force, the closest thing to imperialism Ndiigbo encountered from fellow Igbos was from Arochukwu, and Arochukwu is in Abia not Anambra.

Anambra people never lorded it over other Igbos in the Eastern region, cos they voted the Okpara. Anambra people never lorded it over Enugu and Ebonyi people in old Anambra state, cos Both Jim Nwobodo and Nwodo that governed the old Anambra, were not Anambra people, but were still voted by Anambra people.

You are simply projecting your fears into reality. No such thing as Anambra domination.

I really hope for the best but my fear for Biafra's actualization is in terms leadership tussle and our ability to handle the numerous interest groups that will spring up once Biafra is actualized.

That's just my fear. Meanwhile, Igbos need to start leading by example even now we are Nigerians. We need to distinguish ourselves in unity, leadership excellence and in all areas of life. And we shouldn't be quick in attacking other Igbos with negative mindset about Biafra, but should be able to convince them in a civil way using facts, figures and laid out plan to make Biafra work

Thanks for expressing your fears but I would like to correct you about Biafra's future

If you think, the politicians in Igboland today will lead Biafra, then I believe you are misinform.

After independence there will be a revolution that will cleanse our land of bloody traitors.

For this reason, that's why politicians in Igboland are not supporting Biafra.

There is a new breed of leaders who will take over and deal with every traitor.

My only fear, which will be addressed is if Nnamdi KANU knows how to create a new country where the people are the owners of the country's power.

There are 3 things, IPOB must entrench to avoid the repeat of another Haiti in Africa

1) Educate the people about their constitution and law from primary 1 to the university in order to prevent a situation where the people don't know their left from right

2) Teach the people how to produce at least 100 technological goods and 100 technological services in order to equip them with the knowledge to over poverty which makes them vulnerable to politicians.

3) Introduce compulsory military training after secondary school in order to prevent the need for a standing army which politicians use as an excuse to suppress the citizens. Switzerland is an example

Once these 3 are implemented, you will have citizens that are

1) Knowledgeable about their rights
2) Wealthy
3) can't be bullied by politicians using a standing army.
