Good day guyz... I knw of d 3rd mainland bridge nd I've seen pictures of the proposed 4th mainland bridge. I've never heard anybody talk abt the 1st nd 2nd mainland bridge.
Now, my question is, where is d 1st nd d 2nd mainland bridge located?

In my own opinion I guess the Carter & Eko Bridges kind of serve as the 1st two mainland bridges. These are the 3 major bridges that connect the mainland to Island. Carter Bridge was built in 1901 while Eko Bridge construction started in 1965.

First is at iwo road, ibadan and the second is in Gbongan, Osun state.
So, the elders decided to take the third to Lagos.

Because they did not call it 1st and 2nd mainland bridge na make you think say no 1st and 2nd mainland bridge for Lagos.
That is the carter and Eko bridge respectively.
This 3rd mainland bridge that is popularly called is called the IBB bridge
