An Accident between a red Toyota and a Danfo bus on Third Mainland Bridge this morning has thrown a passenger's leg into the Lagoon.

The victim, a passenger in the Danfo bus was seating in the front when the incident happened.

His limb was reported to have been entangled within crash barriers on the bridge before eventually falling into the lagoon.

RRS riders and monitors at the scene subsequently called for the emergency unit to help recover the missing leg.

Recovery effort by the Marine Police and a team of RRS officials is in progress while the man has been moved to Gbagada General Hospital, Lagos.

The vehicles have been moved by LASEMA Response Unit to avoid congestion.

Almost everyone want to form Fast and Furious don on the bridge, hence, the incessant crashes.



Drivers should always have it at the back of their minds that, the life they have is just one and that when an accident happens, the body can never be the same again. Caution is advised.

Funny story. Losing a limb would result in massive loss of blood. The pix looks too clean for such to have happened.


Maybe a loss of artificial limb share.

Accident on the third mainland bridge is becoming incessant.

Personnels should be stationed around to enforce speed limit rules.

Whenever I'm on the bridge, I just don't feel comfortable. The bridge is a death trap and the lagoon that flanks it is another sinister compliment.
