@ OP, it's not jst you, even folks far away in Badagry are deeling what you are feeling and are also commending the FG and Fashola for improved power supply..


Funny enough, we are not expecting ipobs, disgruntled and anti Nigerian elements to see or witness any form of improvements in the power sector..

History Made As Nigeria Hits 5,000mw Power Generation Mark For The First Time


The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has disclosed that Nigeria has for the first time in the history of her electricity generation profile, generated about 5,074 megawatts (MW) of electricity.

Nigeria as well mark the highest maximum daily energy of 109,372 megawatts hour (MWH) which it transmitted across to electricity distribution companies in the country.

The new marks were attained on February 2, 2016, at 9.30p.m

Stop it this nonsense. Celebrating generating 500 megawatts for a country of 170 million people pathetic. Federal Government sucks end of story. They need multigrid solution add more sources energy besides natural gas and hydro. Coal and solar options. Hydro is good but we have to kick back electricity to Niger and togo.
