This is the first time I am hearing of 'Joloff' or whatever rice.
In East Africa, we have our own cuisines. We do not do West African dishes. In fact , I have never seen a restaurant serving West African dishes anywhere in Nairobi.
They are eating 'Pilau' A staple dish from the East African coast.

They are in fact in Nairobi, Kenya. We call that pilau here. Pilau (or jollof as u pipo call it) is a staple among the Swahili and the coastal tribes in Kenya.
