Please help out. I'm so tired and angry.

Device: Samsung Galaxy s4 GT-i9500.
OS: Official Android 5.0.1 Lollipop.
Modifications: Philz Touch Recovery, Rooted, Uninstalled some preloaded apps. Planned to modify further using Xposed but been too busy. (Warranty has expired so no lectures about voiding warranty please). Phone was working like a charm.

Last week, phone just went off. Totally off; not even indicated if battery was charging. Gave it to an engineer who got it to power on but phone was stuck in bootloop. I took it home thinking flashing would straighten things out.

The Errors:
When launched into Recovery, Philz Touch gives so many errors so I viewed the log file. It says
W : failed to mount dev/block/mmcblk0p19
W : failed to mount dev/block/mmcblk0p21
And a host of other things.

Then I tried flashing Philz Touch or same Lollipop Rom. Odin stops at Initialization for both operations. If I unplug the phone from the computer, Odin fails and throws up the stuff in second screen.

Wiping Dalvik cache, factory reset, clearing cache all failed using Philz touch.

So I tried creating those partitions using ADB shell. Partitions were created but on rebooting to recovery mode, same errors show up.

Then tonight, I thought including the PIT file while flashing a ROM might be the solution since I was looking at a corrupted internal memory. Na lie o, same old thing.

Then I tried flashing Philz Touch again including the PIT file but same old story. After I unplugged the phone, it no longer goes into recovery. Just download mode.

I'm at my wits end, any help?

Lest I forget, I read somewhere on XDA that if Odin stops at initialization, best thing is to get another motherboard. Anyone here with a motherboard for sale? If yes, how much?

Sounds like a board problem... the phone's memory is corrupt must ve been damaged somehow.. Also the bootloader is gone. Which PIT file did you use?

Please what can I do my Samsung note 4 I's due for an update but when u try to do it all I get is the" 5.1 os has been modified in an unauthorised way try downloading software on pc using smart switch or visit customer centers"

On the smart switch I can't find how to download the os I just saw the my os was name dru something ... what can I do or is my phone bad or rooted?

My Galaxy S4 hadn't been coming up since last week now, even when I plug charger, it won't show the battery icon on the face. Just dead. They guy I gave to check for me the problem couldn't identify specifically, He said the current flow is not coming to the battery connector, he also said it might be the mother board, he even said maybe it's high current and that mean I just have to dispose the phone as I cannot repair it and I just bought the phone NEW late last year. So, I think of asking my people here on Nairaland what the problem is if I can see any kind of help, maybe info or technical. Thanks and God bless you for your concern

Had the same prob on a branded phone that was given to me.. even when on wcdma it shows no network and it is a 4g phone. Maybe u should try a custom rom or beta yet flash the latest modem specifically for your model.
