Here is a photo of Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo Stat, test-running one of the rescue mission mass transit busses, which he commissioned on Wednesday (21/9/2016) at the government house, in Owerri, in line with the urban renewal programme of the state government. Those asking why Okorocha is expanding roads with additional lanes can now see the answer. With the existing narrow dual carriage ways its almost impossible for these mass transit buses to move around Owerri However iMHO the solution to mass transit in Nigeria isn't in buses but inter and intra city light rails. This is a good step but we should look towards a railway future. 4 Likes |

mrvitalis:It's impossible for an Mbaise man to rule without support from every part of Imo State. The mistake you are making is trying to create a dichotomy which cannot favour Mbaise as a minority with only 3 LGAs. Support Okorocha or any Governor in Imo State and help in building the State. Going about looking for anything possible to paint Imo in bad light by Mbaise boys further proves what has always been said about Mbaise people. I personally have no grudges but I urge you to be patriotic and respectful to the Governor then try to build good relationship with immediate neighbors like Owerri and Ngor Okpala who might end up being the major opposition to producing Governor from Mbaise area because of perceived domination. |
