my HP 635 laptop refused to display . whenever I switch it on , it comes up but does not display.

N.B the CAPSLOCK key is blinking simultaneously..

How many blinks?
Note that it'll blink for either 1 to 5 times, take a short pause then blink again.

yes , I have . even tried with the RAM of a friend , its still the same .

One blink indicates a bad CPU.

Then it may be VGA problem.

635 is the AMD version of HP 630. Its most likely a video graphics adapter problem. you can either go for the temporary solution ( heating the VGA) or replacing the VGA(expensive). But before this, a board engineer is worth visiting.
