Im a first time mom and i av been trying to get an affordable school for my 2yr old baby. Majority of d schools here in papa-ajao ar on d high side. D sch fees ranges frm #140,000-#70,000 and i keep wondering how much people @lekki ar paying. My sister @ ketu too is lamenting on d increase in her children sch fees. If a 2yr old wl pay ds much, then when he gets to university nko? What abt people dt have up to 3kids, ao do u cope?

Almost every school in Lagos now is increasing their fees for this new session. And the perfect excuse they give is one word: Buhari. Mine was just increased to almost 200k last week for a 5yr old.
The only consolidation I have is I have a side income that helps take care of most other things at home, leaving my salary for the major expenses like rent and school fees.

Then government school is much better now this days with a lot of facilities...

Nawa o. Bt what pains me most is dt majority of ds schs just exploit d parents. They dont offer d best as such. For example, dt sch dt demands dt i pay 140,000 pays her teachers 30,000 as salary. They have just 1 teacher to a class(although population of pupils is nt much due to the high sch fees) and its d CLEANER dt feeds d children in paygroup class. Imagine when d cleaner finish wt d cleaning of poop and wl now com again to feed d pupils. Chai!

Govt sch is NOT better for primary education again. Offcourse, @ secondary and tertiary level, govt sch is stl ok.

My little sister pay 100,000 plus as her school fees as a new jss1 student.
