Please I need help in trying to download videos from YouTube. I tried that trick where you insert "SS" at the front of the Link but it doesn't work. It says downloading is prohibited. Did YouTube find a way to block it.

Is there a different way?

But the 'SS' trick is still working i have used it not more than 30 minutes ago.....u should try changing the browser you are using

I tried a different video and it worked!

Maybe some videos can be downloaded and some cannot.

The video I'm talking about is Eminem And Rihanna the monster tour

Do you still do it?? I've been unable to download files from YouTube using the ss.. It just plays online

It still works, you are supposed to add ss in front of Y (m.ssyoutube.com) like that. I still used it to download jumong all 81 episodes within for days on YouTube almost 30gig. Using operamini

bro i just tried it and its working....change your browser and try again

Do you want to download them from your phone? If so, search for "youtube download" and the second result, clipconverter.cc, should be what you need.

I use clip converter and save from net. They both convert the YouTube video, but I can't download them... I have tried using different browsers.

I was doing fine before. Don't know what happened.
