The profit is not Much but quantity wise its good and meanwhile 1 of the main reason people sell @ 4wks is to raise quick cash to support the feeding of the rest until final sales
So sometime someone may buy 400 doc and sell 100 @ 4wks another 100 @ 6wks just to make additional cash for raising the 200target

Sprinkle black oil around ur brooder and every 7 days spray dd force on the black oil this will always give out abad odur that kills ant but will not harm ur birds

Good day, my 50 broiler chicks are 21 day old today and are all fine. They are now finishing a bag of starter (topfeed) in 5 days. I normally feed them thrice in a day ie morning 7AM., Afternoon 3PM and night 10PM.


How do I feed them to gain profit at the end of the day?
When should I introduce grower to them?

Pls help . it's my very first attempt

From what I learnt I don't think giving them growers is necessary, what I did was @ 3 weeks plus I started mixing starter and finisher for dem so they'll be used to the finisher, am already giving dem more of finishers @ d moment.

For broilers grower is not a good option cos it slows their growth rate and reduces fat formation grower is best in pullet which needs no fat cos of Egg formation

This ur space is tight
When they finish whatever feed ur giving them now u can switch to finisher they are ready for that

Entered fifth bag , day 23. Thought finishers mash costs less than starters mash. Finishers---3250 Starters---3150 Animal care. Top feeds is 50naira cheaper though.

I hope ur happy with the result
Once ur doing the right thing u will be proud of ur result from the leg of ur broilers one dosent need to ask u howfar during u xmas sales

Finisher has almost the same component with starter but it has more calcium to enable the birds with stronger bones to carry the weight without deformity

Mine at 27 days am on the fourth bag, what I did was I stopped night feeding at three weeks and I feed well during the day.
